I grew up 40 mins from the Mexican border, so I've had my fair share of good Mexican food and it's definitely my favorite food. A lot of good Mexican places in Seoul have disappeared over the years, so I was so glad to come across this place
No lie, the first time I ate here I felt a rush of dopamine as I was eating. I've tried the carne asada, al pastor and carnitas tacos. I liked them all, but I'd say the carnitas were my least favorite. Their corn tortillas are good and seem to be made in house. I've also had the tacos dorados which is probably my favorite thing on the menu so far.
The gorditas were interesting because I've never had flour gorditas. Apparently it's how they make it in Durango.
The quesadillas were just average and not that filling in my opinion.
The chips and salsa are also great. They offer 4 different types of salas.
There are still a few other things I want to try on the menu including chile rellenos -- which I've never seen on the menu at another Mexican restaurant in Seoul. Come give it a try if you're looking for legit Mexican...
Read morePretty tasty Mexican place! Not bad at all. The Pozolito is actually quite nice and reminds me of home.
Some things are a little bit off. For example, I think the tacos need a bit more work. I wouldnât call them authentic.
Same with the refried beans. They donât taste bad, but something is off about them.
All of this being said, itâs actually a good restaurant and Iâve now gone there on 3 different occasions.
The enchiladas are good, so are the chilaquiles and as I mentioned the pozole is legit. I wish I could review the tamales, but Iâve gone 3 times now and theyâve never had them available.
One employee told me to come before 3pm, because they run out quickly. So I showed up at noon one day, and they didnât have them. So I think they just donât keep them in stock.
4/5 stars. Almost a perfect score but has room for...
Read moreMy fiancée and I were looking for a vegetarian friendly restaurant and she came across this place and boy must I say, we have not regretted since.
3 times weâve been here, 3 times Iâve happily spent my money here.
The burrito is lovely and the winning factor for this place is the âMacha and Negraâ salsa! Spice alert, itâs just nice but may be too spicy but honestly, itâs to die for (literally? Maybe? Hahaha)
Also, quick tip, put all 4 sauces and then bite into your burrito, your tongue will thank me but your...
