We went with friends to this restaurant and it was a disgrace and a health and safety issue. Once we entered the restaurant, it was a comedy of errors! We ordered drinks as soon as we sat down as there were two waiter’s hanging around staring at the table. We ordered brandy, which arrived with ice, gin and tonic that had no lemon and red wine that arrive in a milk jug and was ice cold. A man claimed to be the owner came over, apologised and then blamed his staff that they were new and didn’t know what they were doing. He said it was his restaurant and that it was a chain of other Aberdeen Steakhouse across Tenerife and that he was only starting out.
We looked at the menu and in the party of 4 there were two fillet steaks ordered and two burgers. The owner was very insistent that the burgers were not great and that the fillet steak was better, he was very adamant on this point! We both agreed we wanted burgers not steak and he groaned at us with our choice. We sat for 1 hour 20 minutes and there was no sign of food! People who came into the restaurant long after us finished their dinners and were paying the bill. We repeated asked what was the delay only to be given more drinks without ordering them and at one point, we were given some cheese dessert to keep us happy One of the party went to the bathroom and was told that it was down the stairs behind the restaurant and was given a key. This was an immediate red flag as the bathroom is used by all other users of the block of commercial units, which includes a lap dancing bar and all its patrons. The bathroom was filthy, smelly and used female hygiene products on the ground, this is not a suitable place for parents with children at all – it is a health and safety issue! We also saw the chef at one stage leave the kitchen in the middle of cooking and come out to the restaurant petting a dog and then retuning to cook without washing his hands, it was disgusting and the health and safety authority will be advised of this. After 1 hour 20 minutes, we made our feelings known, got up from the table, called for the bill as there was no food coming and were told that the drinks were free. The manger told us that as the Boss was off for the night there was mayhem in the kitchen and...

Read moreDO NOT TRUST THIS RESTAURANT On the wall outside the restaurant a poster offering chateaubriand for two. I enquired about the chateaubriand for a later day and was told they'd cook it how I wanted with any sauces, veg and cut at the table for us . That really sounded good and would come back to book later. 3 days later I went to book for the next night. They received us a table I picked, took my name, time and I asked to make sure the chateaubriand is still on the menu and they said yes. The next day, this was our wedding anniversary so I was looking forward to a nice night out we had booked. When we arrived at the restaurant it was half full with customers but the table I reserved was taken, not a good start but still we'll try a different table. The waiter gave the menu, we had a quick look at the starters but we ordered the chateaubriand the night before we just wanted that only. The waiter came to take our order, we ordered chateaubriand and looked at us and said no chateaubriand. we told him you were the waiter we had made the booking with? and he just said,,,,, yeah. What a waste of time and no apology so we just left the restaurant. We had a nice meal up the road and came back down past the Aberdeen Steak-House again 10:30 pm the place was empty and just closing its doors. all other restaurants are...
