The worst bar in Tenerife.

We arrived and ordered a pint and a gin and lemonade. The pint was the worst we’ve ever had (and we’ve been to some sh holes) and the gin tasted like paint stripper.

We asked for the bill as we were just going to pay and go; we only nipped in for a quick drink before enjoying some delicious tapas in la jardin de la abuela.

He charged €11 for that rubbish!

When my partner said that the larger didn’t taste right (hoping that maybe he could pour another to replace) we were met with “this is how it tastes everywhere, and that’s the price”

We left €5 and said that’s all we’re giving you. He then proceeded to call us poor over and over again, and stared my partner out in a threatening way; which I found absolutely despicable. Perhaps he was drunk now I have read other reviews about the same barman?

Has been my go to place for drink and food for years. Lots of reviews on here complaining of unfriendly staff but I have never experienced that and find that, if you deal with staff as human beings, you get the same back. Lots of joking back and forth. I look forward to going there. One downer this year is that the food has changed from pub grub that you could rely on to gastro with sauce flourishes. Spoilt my trip this year as it means I will need to find another eatery...

Delicious!!!

Absolutely wonderful, delicious breakfast with all of the greatest bits of a full English. The tea and coffee was most enjoyable and served in proper mugs instead of smaller thinner mugs. The toast was cooked perfectly with butter that was easily spreadble. The orange juice was a little expensive however I can understand why as it was beautifully freshly squeezed and smelt amwzing.
