Chicken & Chicken — Restaurant in Adeje

As fried chicken shops go this place is a must - apparently fighter Conor Macgregor flew in his private jet to Tenerife just to eat here! Whether it’s true or not the chicken coating is very tasty and the chicken is cooked perfectly- good value for money - me and my grown up children had a a Chicken burger meal ( chicken fillet in a bun with fries and a drink €6.50; Breast fillets with fries) usually x2 fillets but we swapped up one fillet for three wings (€5.50) and a three chicken pieces meal with fries and a drink €6.50. They charge 50 cents per pot for mayo, ketchup, chilli sauce or garlic mayo ( the garlic mayo is highly recommended). VERY TASTY AND GREAT VALUE and because we selected to eating they actually served it up on China plates which I’ve never had from the chicken shop ever in the UK. The quality of the food is extremely poor, as they use frozen chicken and potatoes even though the island is renowned for its excellent potatoes. My biggest concern is with the chef, who handles the food without proper hygiene. I implore anyone reading this review to ensure they wear gloves and avoid direct contact with the food due to the prevalence of viruses. It's concerning that the authorities permit a worker who is constantly handling food to do so without taking necessary precautions.
