I went after a recommendation, but wasn't impressed! The food was expensive, way above the norm, forgot my request for a second beer and had to go to the bar and ask, whilst 3 staff members were all laughing and joking with the chef out loud with their backs to me, " tip's for you guys moving forward " 1. Be more attentive to your customers, and spend less time messing around with the chef in the back. 2. when you serve a table look around to see if the other tables need a drink or have an empty glass, before you run off to the chef to have a laugh and a joke out the back of the bar with your back to the customers. 3. Don't move the patio heater away from people to warm some one else's table and leave the other people to be cold in the breeze. 4. Maybe do Fries with the burgers as 13.95 for a burger on it's own is very expensive. 5. provide some dips with the prawns and fries, lets be honest it costs 1 euro for a bottle of BBQ sauce in mercadona next door to you, hardly eating into your profits. Finally the the food tasted nice and the chef is obviously capable, just work on your waitering skills, maybe have one staff member stood on look out and supervise the others a bit more, and be more attentive and focus on what your job is, to be a service to the public, not treat them like they're getting in the way of your chit chatting with colleagues and then expect them to part with their hard earnt money!
unfortunately I won't be a repeat customer, but good luck nonetheless as I said it...
Read moreDrinks: Corona beer and a coke. The coke I believe may have been k-way as it was not as fizzy as from a can or bottle, also it arrived to the table already poured in the glass.
Food: Starters: We had Briskett Nachos which were awesome. Good portion for two people sharing. Really tasty, pretty much perfect.
Mains we had the smoked Short Rib which was delicious, succulent and a good size. The taste was very rich and I can't fault it at all. With a side of french fries, as an additional extra. The fries were also perfectly cooked.
We also had the smoked half chicken, which was huge! We couldn't finish it. It was falling off the bone and very enjoyable. We enjoy strong seasoning, but for us it was almost too salty, but just not. It was a flavour bomb! So damn good.
The service was also great. Friendly and professional waiters who are multilingual and very good at what they do.
I was very impressed by the overall quality of our experience, and look forward to returning and exploring the menu further.
I can't really say a bad thing about our dinner, besides the coke, which we would prefer to arrive in a can/bottle to the table, or be informed that it is k-way (if is was) when we ordered it.
Unfortunately the food didn't stand a chance to take photos, but it is presented nicely and appears very appetising when it reaches the table!
Definately give it a...
Read moreWe had big expectations for this place, we got there everything seemed cool apart from the fact that the restaurant was almost empty at a peak time 7pm Wednesday, the cocktail was very good and that's where all the good part of the review ends, we ordered pulled pork as well as pulled cheek, we got gravy cheese covered fries and their Mac and cheese, to begin we saw the people working the kitchen microwave both the pulled pork and cheek basically right in front of us, both the meats had an overwhelming salty flavour and that's about it, when the food arrived presentation was good but what concerned us is how quick they brought the food even though the restaurant was empty, the mac and cheese was obviously microwaved as well as it was freezing cold in the middle, the gravy cheese covered fries were also reheated as the cheese was old and crusty already which doesn't happen if its cooked fresh, the staff were nice and kind but the food was an abomination would not recommend. Also quite disappointed about the price as it was on the more expensive side, never have I ever been charged in Tenerife so much for such awful...
