Quantity not quality We had visitors from out of town on a Friday night and were keen to book a place by the beach to avoid disappointment and stress on the night. We therefore visited this restaurant the day before to book on account of them having the biggest selection of ice cream we've ever seen, and discussed with one of the waitresses where we would like to sit. I was surprised to note when I had to return for something a minute later that she wasn't writing anything down.

I therefore tried to call the restaurant the following day to check the reservation was alright but no one ever picked up either of the two numbers stated, so I left a message. I also messaged the restaurant on their official account but got no reply.

On the night my worst fears materialised as our table was already taken when we arrived. There was no trace of our booking and we had to wait while other waitstaff heroically tried to remedy the situation by rounding up tables from elsewhere in the restaurant to fit 7 people.

Food portions were enormous for the price but eg my pizza was undercooked and none of the other dishes looked particularly exciting. Average food at best, so they try to make up for this by upping the quantity. All of our party left either half their food behind or stuffed themselves to the point of bursting. Neither ideal! In the end no one was able to have any ice cream so really we could have gone to any other restaurant....

Waiters were nice enough on the day but their attitude towards taking bookings or picking up the phone really lets the whole team down.

I would not go here again (unless for ice cream!) as I personally prefer eating less food that is of...

June 2019. We had a lot of diners here. So I try to give a short description.

Management: Very unorganized stuff. You were asked from different servants for the same thing. Servants running from one edge to the other edge of the restaurant. And it's not that small ;-). Pasta is not recommended. As everywhere in spain. Take this only in countries like Italy, Switzerland, France or Germany. Seafood is ok, especially Sepia a la plancha, Gambas al ajillo, Mejillones or lenguado. Pizza is also very recommended. They do it very well. Beef is a risk. Not because of the quality. They will ask you how it should be done. Medio, bien hecho. And what you get depends on the mood of the cook. Do not order Filet de cerdo. They have no clue what to do with that. We got something burned like a peace of coal and dry as a desert. And we complained about that but with no reaction of the kitchen nor did we get something offered as a goodie.

And overall I always had the feeling that most members of the crew are not aware that the customer is king, so they are very concentrated to themselves instead of making a good job to customers. Listening their own music seems to be more important than having happy guests. So my feeling was not to be welcome here. there was only one person with which we had deeper conversations. For sunsets with a drink a fantastic place. But you will find a lot of them in this place. For the place and some of the menues I would return to this...

Stopped for quick drink and snack... Oh My God what discussing service .... The worst I've had in the 7 days I've been here .. Our snack just got thrown on the table and server ran off... No chance to ask about our drink. So eventually we gave up trying to catch the eye of someone for drink so just asked for bill.... Our bill was charging us for for drink we asked to please take off....but our extremely aggressive server said no no I cannot no you can take away and banged bottled several times on table ...and of course all tables around us started watching ...how uncomfortable. I've never experienced anything like that before. He eventually left and went to man making the bills he constantly cursing in our direction and dirty looks..... When we got up to leave he kept looking and actually hissed at us ..... Is this server for real. I'm so sorry I didn't get his name. What aggressive discussing behaviour.....so dear owner what do you think of the service we received......to be hissed and cursed at...... And in the end bill got changed without any problems anyway and all could have been avoided...... So for bad service and manners you know where...

Quite a poor experience in this place, should have listened to my gut feeling on walking in when noticing the fairly dated decor and tacky boot shaped drinking glasses I last saw in the 1980’s. The kids ordered crepes with the adults ordering omelettes. The crepes turned up after not too long a wait with no sign of the omelettes. After a huge wait two lukewarm (closer to cold in fact) omelettes with chips turned up with no explanation or apology for the extended time taken. By this point the kids had finished their crepes and judging by the temperature of our food i would say it was most likely all ready to go out at the same time but ours was totally forgotten about. This cafe being situated just opposite the beach on the long pedestrianised walkway probably picks up a lot of passing trade which may explain the totally indifferent bordering on the rude attitude of the waiting staff. As you’ll have gathered I’d suggest you avoid this place and try one of he many other eateries that are situated nearby.

We visited for the third time after two good visits but on the third occasion we had the most appalling service we have experienced on Tenerife. We had a seat and wanted to have desserts and drinks - a woman with long dark hair served us and simply ushered us away with her hands saying ice creams are take away only and walked away. I walked to the bar to ask how the desserts and drinks can be take away and that we'd been here twice this week but she proceeded to shout at me and then walk away and began to speak very rudely about us to the bar staff, not knowing I could understand her Spanish clearly. We asked to speak to a manager and we were told there wasn't one. For a restaurant in a popular tourist destination, the contempt for tourists and speaking in such a way assuming they couldn't be understood was absolutely appalling. From Fañabe to Americas, this is the most atrocious service out of the dozens of places we have visited and loved.

25 Nov 2024/ dinner/ the view is the best. The food is good and tasty the service was fast. BUT don't order drinks there because the blender man made design of huge glass was super with watermelon, but when I tasted it, I never drink something like this taste in my life.. I ordered margaritas strawberry, and it was written: tequila, strawberry. Brown sugar and ice. I got pink water with tequila, not sweet at all, no strawberry taste. I told the waiter: "Maybe the bar man forgot to add Brown sugar" but the waiter didn't change my glass. Instead, he brought mini bags of white sugar. I add them all in my glass, but still not drinkable . My husband asked me to drink his sangria, who was also not satisfied with the taste of his drink. I tried it, and it was not that good either. Waste of big glass for nothing. we stop drinking in the middle and left. You should hired someone who studied mixing drinks correctly.
