Slow Yacht II — Restaurant in Adeje

They didn't accept the card payment because the system wasn't working. However, I wasn't notified before I ordered and was told to withdraw cash from nearby ATM. That atm charged 3.95 euros plus my bank change extra 1.50 euro. If I was told by the personnel or any sign that they accept only cash this day I would come back other day with cash I have at home. I asked for a discount however I wasn't given any. I live there and like the place. I would come at least once a month for a lunch but after this experience and not trying to make it up I won't come again. For the future reference it would be very very nice to tell customers they do not accept card payments before they take orders. That'd be very pro-customer oriented...

Visited Slow Yacht II after scanning the area for a Chinese restaurant..read the reviews that made me feel this was worth the walk.On arrival there was only two people eating in the restaurant.Partner was apprehensive as she is very particular with our Chinese dishes.I took the decision to give it a try . Thankfully for my sake the food was one of the best meals we had all week,if not the best.Prices are very reasonable and the food was piping hot...in fact the prawn crackers were still popping....well worth a visit.
