Made a reservation on whatsapp. Arrived on time, restaurant was empty and waitress rudely shouted at us from behind bar to speak Spanish spell our names etc for reservation. She claimed we had no reservation - we said we had whatsapp proof but she didn't want to look at the phone and we felt so unwelcome and badly treated we left and went to La Mary's down the road which was excellent. Really bad/drain smells in restaurant named the cockroach did not help but we would have ignored it had we not been so rudely treated by staff directly upon entry. We were a group of 6 and we had the menu for 31.50 drinks and dessert included. The service was realy great. We didn't have to wait a lot for each food to be served. The chef and the waitresses were friendly and accommodating. All the dishes that we had were really of good quality. I would recommend the croquetas de rabo de torro, patatas bravas, lomos de caballa fresca escabechada, bacalao confitado sobre crema de bollit, huevos revueltos con zarangollo, and ensaladilla rusa. Food is wonderful and service was also great.

We were lucky enough to be there first client of the day and the chef explained everything to us in english. We asked for cocktails and were amazingly served by the chef.

The food, the croquetas for example are really tasty and I'm still looking forward to eating some again one day. The fish and the meat were also perfect and the desert was just the nice finishing touch of our eating there.

Basically, great food, friendly service.
