My family and I had a very unpleasant experience at a restaurant called Cafe del Parque. We all ordered food there, and I ordered a sirloin steak while the others had pizza and pasta. When the food arrived, it was very unappetizing, and to top it off, I received very spoiled meat. The smell was very bad, resembling rotten fish. I called the waiter and informed him, but he took the plate and accused me of lying about the meat being spoiled. He claimed their meat was of high quality. He didn't even bother to smell it and rudely took the plate back to the kitchen. At that point, we decided to leave, as we didn't trust the quality of the rest of the food. The waiters reacted aggressively and threatened to call the police if we didn't pay for the meal. A security guard from the beach was called by the waiters to ensure we didn't leave without paying. I asked the waiter, named Ramon, to bring the meat back so the security guard could smell it. He went to the kitchen but returned with a different piece of meat that didn't have the foul smell. My wife saw the cook preparing new meat in the kitchen. In the end, I paid for the meal because my children were scared by the waiters' behavior and their threats to call the police. Ramon also insulted the children, which I am very unhappy about. They charged us 63 euros for this. I have a strong customer service background and know how to handle such situations. He should have apologized and offered me a replacement or a small discount. This was, frankly, some of the worst service I've ever experienced. We later went to another restaurant called Il Camalonte Pizzeria, which is apparently owned by the same people as Cafe del Parque. We had excellent pizzas and very good service there. When we told our story to two waiters there, they were shocked. When we mentioned the name of the waiter, it didn't surprise them. Stay away...

A great place to take the family - unless it is busy, in which case be prepared to be insulted!

We took our family, including our mother (in a wheelchair), and set her up with us at a table - no small feat most of the time as there is rarely a lot of space for manual handling. We had initially sat down to get some ice cream since it was quite hot.

We were told, by a very rude waiter, and I quote: "No time, no time! Not ordering food then we will not serve you." and so we were forced to leave without being served in any capacity. I have never encountered such rudeness from someone in a front-facing customer centric role!

We understand that the place was busy but that sort of abrupt rudeness is not something we expect from a serving member of staff. Had it been explained politely I would not be leaving this review. This is in stark contrast to how we've been treated elsewhere and we've found that staff bend over backwards to be as helpful as they can.

My advice to anyone is to go elsewhere. If the staff care so little for their customers then they don't deserve your service. I'm unable to review the food as we were never...

Disastrous. My husband, my children and some friends went to eat at this place and we will never return. The food is acceptable and the place in front the sea is admirable, however our experience was embarrassing. At first everything was fabulous, Ali's service was impeccable and he treated my children with great care, this man is the best thing about this restaurant. It all started when my children went to order some ice cream and the lady who attended them (I asked for her name but only Lady answered me, perhaps she could be Cuban or Venezuelan) was more attentive to flirting with my husband than to serving the children and or her work. She spent the entire time pacing our table flirting with my husband to the point of saying ENOUGH, even though there were other customers waiting for her service. It was so cheeky that even the next table noticed. We just won't be back as it was very uncomfortable and very disrespectful. We would give 5 stars for Ali and her service. 1 star for the experience, because you can't give less. Be careful if you go to eat here with your husband and this Lady is there. The views are...

Great location just off beach promenade. 20 odd outside tables with parasols seating 4 in very well kept comfortable wide seat padded arm type chairs. The colour scheme is a tasteful beige and terracotta smooth floor tiles. Recycled napkins and easy clean table top. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance to side. Reasonably priced brunc along with full English breakfast. English speaking waitress on our lunch time visit. A varied selection of hot and cold food with desserts available throughout the day. Some indoor seating with toilets. There are various effect lighting to aid night atmosphere. Food and drink orders taken and delivered with little wait time. Food was plentiful and tasty. Overall a relaxing lunch.

Stopped for dinner before getting our transport to the airport. Got ignored, found a menu ourselves and had to call a waiter over to place the order for drinks and pizza. Drinks and pizza came quickly but service is really lacking. Pizza was nice, view was amazing. Prices are good, €40 for 2 pizzas and 3 drinks. Even paying the bill there was no thank you or a smile. So don’t go here expecting good service or to be approached. We saw another table get up and leave after being ignored and not ordering anything. Shame as the potential is so good and other reviews have mentioned about poor service.

Rude service. Possibility that the owner was serving my table. He was rude regarding I had two children in strollers. Did not allow them to walk around the restaurant. Atmosphere there was like I was a guest inside his private home were there are strict rules with no flexibility at all. On the bright side it was not busy at launch and food arrived fast. Strongly recommended waking around the corner for a more children friendly restaurant.
