Bar Central Raval — Restaurant in Barcelona

Don't COME HERE. i can easily find another bookstore/cafe in the city with better quality of food and coffee, and most importantly, better service, which this place is lacking. The female waitress is miserable and she's giving out a negative vibe to this place. I've never seen anyone that miserable, lack of energy or will to work. Took 10 minutes to get a croissant and brought it to the wrong person. The pastry were already made which i saw them in the counter and that's why i ordered. It's not like it was freshly made. my friend and I are not twins, and i asked for croissant. The waitress not only place the croissant on the table, then she slides the plate to my friend. I adore this place. However, I am sad to say that the service is quite unpleasant if you are just having a cup of coffee / beer with a friend. I do understand the hardship of covid but constant asking of if the customer needs anything else (not even in busy hours), taking away your empty glasses as soon as you are done which results in interruption of conversations and pressure to leave.They even asked you to leave after answering you won't need anything for the moment. this is an underlying consensus among people who used to go regularly. We’ve just had a really bad experience in here. We patiently waited for 10 minutes and more at the entrance of the garden (no one else was in line) and once the red hair waiter (I specify because I don’t want to blame all the waiters in there) came to us, she was so rude that we decided to not seat anymore, even if there was a free table because she was way too annoyed to clean it to let us seat.
