Excellent food, excellent service! We had the linguine with mozzarella and basil, the salami stuffed chicken, a beef steak dish, nachos with guacamole, bread with tomatoes, and grilled vegetables. The desserts were also great! We had the tiramisu and a rich lava chocolate cake with ice-cream (can't remember the name). Everything was so tasteful! Great food! The waitress was very interactive, helpful, and attentive, and very very kind! We will definitely go again!!! 🥰 Edit : Update regarding our next visit! We started out at 8:30pm with desert (had the cheese cake) and a pina colada and continued later with light dinner dishes, tapas and cocktails! We had two mushroom risotti, the nachos with guacamole, the ham croquettes, the tomato bread, a Cosmopolitan, Espresso Martinis, and a non-alcoholic, fruit-juice based cocktail (Mango Apple Ice Tea), until closing time, at midnight. The staff provided us also with a pasta dish with olive oil and tomatoes, that was not on the menu, due to a food allergy of one member of our party! It was an excellent experience, just like it was the first time! The food, the drinks, and the service were awesome! We will probably go for dinner, desert, and cocktails again tonight! Definitely our favourite restaurant in Barcelona so far and we have been to many places already!!! Thank...
Read moreThis restaurant has a very comfortable terrace facing the big esplanade in front of the Born Cultural Center. The area has growth touristically in the last decade, it's less crowdy than Barrio Gotico, and the atmosphere is relax.
The menu consist of mostly tipical argentinian meat cuts, empanadas and hamburguers with a selection of vegetarian dishes.
The price range is average for a touristic destination.
I had a mix experience with the service, and even if they were partly friendly, they had a rush to free the tables when you are done with eating, cause they have this rule that you can't occupy the table if you are only going to drink, wich i can somehow understand, but i don't agree with the rush after you have already eaten.
I did not try the deserts, but they do have panqueques with dulce de leche, enough said.
I was with my son, and he was able to run around the open space, while we were having dinner, and i only had to watch from time to time when bikes drived through, otherwise the space is closed to cars.
All in all, i liked a lot there, and i would definetly come back when...
Read moreWorst customer service experience I've had in Barcelona, and I've lived here for over 3 years.
The waitress misunderstood our order and wrote down entrecot instead of entrana. Instead of simply saying sorry for the misunderstanding and offering to change the order when it arrived, she argued with us and continued to say that WE were wrong.
She was very rude and it was shocking to see someone act this way in front of other customers. We left without eating.
On top of that, they still charged us for the meat we didn't eat and also did not have the complaint paper available (which is illegal in Barcelona - you always have the right to ask for an "hoja de reclamacion" and fill it out there when something like this happens and you are wrongfully charged for a meal).
I would highly recommend avoiding this place. They definitely take advantage if they think you are a tourist and do not know how the system works in Spain, the "I don't care what you say" attitude made that clear for me.
Never before this have seen someone work as a manager in a restaurant and treat...
