Demasie, nestled in the heart of Barcelona, is a hidden gem that beckons to those seeking a unique culinary experience. As you stroll along the charming streets, you’ll notice that this establishment stands out—a delightful deviation from the usual fare found in the city.
The tantalizing aroma wafting from Demasie’s doors captivates passersby, drawing them in like bees to honey. Curious eyes sparkle with anticipation as they step inside. And I, a devoted cinnamon roll hunter, couldn’t resist the siren call. Naturally, I ventured inside.
The cozy interior reveals a treasure trove of delectable delights. But it’s the cinnamon rolls that steal the show. Soft, buttery, and infused with just the right amount of spice, they transport you to a pastry paradise. Whether you opt for the classic cinnamon, the indulgent Nutella, or the intriguing cherry flavor, each bite is a revelation.
Demasie isn’t just about cinnamon rolls, though. Their pastries—like works of edible art—are equally divine. From coffee-infused mascarpone to salted caramel, every creation is a testament to their passion for baking. And the best part? The prices are reasonable, making it a guilt-free indulgence.
As you sip your coffee or tea, take in the cozy ambiance. The warm wooden decor, the hum of conversation, and the occasional burst of laughter create an inviting space. It’s no wonder locals flock here—their secret haven for sweet escapes.
So, future visitors, heed this advice: When in Barcelona, don’t leave without experiencing Demasie. Let the heavenly scent guide you, and savor every mouthwatering morsel. Because sometimes, life is too short to resist a perfect cinnamon...
Read moreI'm sorry! Have to say that was long time that I wanted to visit that place, finally I found the time... All looks super attractive and delicious, many colors, interesting ideas of mix of ingredients.. Just call you to come in and try.. So when I got there I wanted to try as much as I can I bought a few (actually 5 items only for me) good looking cookies /rolls and I expected to be satisfied from at least one of them, was not the case maybe the cinnamon roll was good but I had much better experience with cinnamons rolls. The cookies was really not for my taste. And of course that if all looks so good so as well it's so pricey, I know to appreciate good quality products and don't have problem to pay for that but this one was just not good... I gave 3 stars but now when I'm writing about the price so I have to give only 2 because for real is to expensive for cookies anyway or other only good looking dessert, if it was so good I was back and buy more and even pay more. Sorry זה רק נראה טעים זה לא משו בכלל וגם יקר מידי לטעמי, בסופו של דבר טעמתי 5 עוגיות/סינבון ואפחד מהם לא היה שווה את המחיר או...
Read moreVery cute pastry shop with amazing service. The display looks mouth-watering and the long line will entice you to follow. Pictures online looks extremely appetizing too. All services are to-go. You can eat while walking if you cannot wait. There are a lot of plazas around as well.
We got the dulce de leche, kinder white, kinder chocolate, and pistachio. I also got a piece of the bombon (donut). Since this is to-go, the cinnamon bun is somewhat better if you eat them right away but it gets hard pretty quickly if not. With no microwave ovens in most hotel rooms, do not buy more that what you can consume in one seating. Not a fan of the cinnamon buns. Maybe they taste better re-heated. As for the donut, it is generously filled with nutella but the dough is too oily and not as soft as I would like.
Don’t overbuy but worth checking out for it’s set up, service, and hyper. Maybe try...
