The ambiance and service provided a delightful experience, but unfortunately, the food offerings fell short of expectations.

I started with the goat cheese sandwich, which, regrettably, did not meet the mark. The overwhelming amount of honey overshadowed the flavors, making it a challenge to enjoy even a few bites before surrendering. Additionally, the honey was spread on the bun, causing it to stick to one's fingers while attempting to hold the sandwich.

Subsequently, I tried the hummus bagel sandwich, which was passable but lacked culinary cohesion. The flavors didn't complement each other, resulting in a dish that felt hastily put together, devoid of harmony.

Given the price point, I must admit that I won't be revisiting this establishment. There are other dining options available that offer a more satisfying experience, making it difficult to justify...

For brunch lovers, El Árbol is always a good option. It has many options, both sweet and savory, and the variety of drinks is also incredible. What I would highlight the most is the atmosphere of its premises (both in Passeig de Sant Joan and in Aribau). It is a very nice place where you can work or read, although it is also ideal for brunch with friends. On this occasion, I tried their pancakes for the first time, and although I'm more of a savory person, they were delicious! Every time I've tried to pop in for something to go, I've been ignored, despite greeting the bar,for at least five minutes. One time, I waited, and gotta home to discover super tiny portions way smallest than the cut marks on their cakes. Today, I was greeted and told to wait a minute, but after the staff continued serving others and filling other orders over more than five or ten minutes of uncomfortably standing in the passageway at the register waiting for service on a simple cake slice, I walked out because I don't want to be exposed to covid and don't appreciate waiting so long for a fast order.
