There are 2 dessert and 1 drink was recommend on menu, on the top of menu, but personally, i think there is only one is recommend, with the others, they just put it there to have, not to recommend, because when i order, the waitress don't know where is it on the menu to check and add their price on the bill. she seem a little bit surprise too. And, the service is EXTREMELY BAD. not hospitality, not even attend the service standard. Firstly, rule no1: no question = so you have to order without any question about food. when i stand outside, there was a waitress ask me what i want? What i want when i come to a coffee shop???? maybe a steak??? or fish and chips??? I even din't see menu, they don't put menu outside but she asked me what exactly i want so she can let me go inside or not, LOL. How could i know what i want when i came there for my first time and their marvellous menu is on table but inside! After a lot of effort, waving hand and saying "excuse me" thousand time to get the attention of the waitress, i couldn't make the order by myself until there was a couple saw me do that many time and they ask the waitress come to my table, lol, like i'm a invisible girl. The first time in my life, i feel like i have to begging to have food. Specially, when the waitress throw the dishes on the table like" whatever, eat that! don't bother me anymore". i will NOT RECOMMEND this coffee shop...

The first time I went here alone on a weekday, I loved the place, it's very cute and the chocolate and churros were good. However, the next time I took my friend, I found that the service was quite curt. Chocolate was also thicker (almost pudding-like) and much sweeter than the time before, which I didn't like as much. Quality and service experiences vary.

We went at 8:30 pm one evening when the sign said it closed at 9:15 pm, and a waiter yelled at us that the place would be closing in 10 minutes, and wouldn't let us sit, so we left. The next day, we got there right at 5 pm when it opened again for the evening. The place wasn't even busy yet, but the waiter who we paid our bill to was very surly. The crema catalana we got was just okay, not memorable and the top crust was not crunchy but rather sticky. We left feeling taken aback by the attitude and underwhelmed by the food. There are plenty of other chocolate and churros places in Barcelona that I'd rather take a guest for warmer and more consistent service, and we had better churros and chocolate the next day at La Nena. This is also the only place I've been to in Barcelona which brings you the bill right with your food...

To be honest, I am quite disappointed. I was really excited to pay a visit there as there are many vblogger filming their trip in barcelona and recommended this place how ever generally speaking, it was not a nice experience. Regardless of their background, i came across not a very friendly service with 1 of the personnel. She did not show us any manner of a carring waitress , served us in a very rush manner and did not smile at all. The food was normal, nothing special and in accordance with the price, I considered it to be quite expensive, especially the " highly recommended" churros. There were only small three of them for 1.80e which was allowed me to by a whole big pack of 10 big and crispy churros from a churros van in figueres. Not to mention the thick chocolated for dipping was 3.50 e more and really, it was not that good. The churros even did not have CINAMMON...
