Pomodoro — Restaurant in Cádiz

Don’t go. The service was fast but too fast to cook edible food. I bought a pizza and it was SHOCKING. The pizza was barely cooked and the base was raw. There were pools of oil sitting in the raw pepperoni and on the uncooked cheese. Don’t even get me started on the pasta. The sauce was out of a jar with vinegar. The bolognaise was not bolognaise the meat was non existent. The Coke Zero was not Coke Zero and tasted fruity same with the normal coke. The whole meal experience was something I wish to forget. We then saw the waitress walking across the city square and she shook her head because we didn’t eat the disgusting food which was extremely rude of her to do and didn’t give her any brownie points. Also just to add in the chef coughed and sneezed into his hands and didn't wash them. I would rate it zero if I could. The best thing about Pomodoro was getting the leave place I wouldn’t give it the title...

We have visited numerous times!

The cheapest place so far for caña and a glass of wine ($3.70) Cheap meals! Especially the day specials!

Also we have ordered pizza (good, forgot to take a photo), chicken tenders with fries (not deep fried on either item) really good.

Indoor seating downstairs and upstairs. Outside seating in front and back.

They do close for a couple of hours in the late afternoon.

Fui a comer aquí ayer 29 de Noviembre de 2023 sobre las 2 y media de la tarde. La chica que atendía en el mostrador es súper profesional y muy amable, le doy la enhorabuena por su servicio, ya que no estuvo quieta ni un solo momento y se ocupaba de cualquier tarea que pudiera desde sacar platos a reponer cosas o lo que hiciera falta. Había otro chico que también estaba haciendo un montón de tareas al mismo tiempo, y los dos trabajaban muy bien en equipo coordinándose entre ellos y con la cocina. Toda la plantilla, que creo que eran 4 personas en ese momento, contando a los dos chicos que pude ver en cocina, sacaron adelante el servicio perfectamente y añadiendo el trato de simpatía y humanidad que uno espera de un gran restaurante, lo cual no se suele ver en establecimientos de comida rápida, por lo que quería dar la enhorabuena y las gracias al equipo que me atendió. De la comida puedo decir que para ser una franquicia estaba todo muy bueno y las cantidades aunque están medidas por la marca, yo que también he trabajado en hostelería y en cadenas de comida rápida, pude apreciar el cuidado y la buena elaboración de los productos y pude disfrutar...
