I went there with a big group of friends. We looked for an apartment with the idea to have a bit more room than in a hotel. What a big disappointment! The plan was to stay four people in each apartment, as advertised. The so called apartments are simply a medium-sized room with a little tiny kitchenette. The double bed is really small (130cm) even for a couple. The other two extra beds was a bank bed, with a 50cm separation from the double bed. There was no space to even open the four suitcases at the same time. No space to hung our clothes either (a tiny bar to hung 3-4 pieces of clothing maximum). There were not common areas, which means that we ended up having much less space available than if we had gone to a hotel. For what we got, the price was not cheap. We payed 120 euros per room, without breakfast, to stay in a shoe box. The apartment was clean and still new (the construction is so cheap that in a few years it will be really much more unpleasant to stay there). Really noisy, with shouting from the central street where it is situated (the windows close quite well and once closed you could not hear the noise, but it was too hot to close the windows and to cold to switch on the air...
Read moreThe apartment is in a great location, walking around the city is easy lots of restaurants nearby, if you get a city map you will see there are 4walks around Cádiz. Yellow the red bus route, the purplevwalk, blue walk and a green walk. The coloured lines are painted on the floor and you can follow each walk. The train station is about 10 minutes walk to the apartment. We just took a taxi 5euros.well worth it on our first arrival. ||I was disappointed when we first got to the apartment as you have to ring a number which is on the door. then they give you a code and another code to get the key. There is no reception and the girl that came to help us to get the key as we got the wrong code was disinterested She appeared downstairs gave us the key then disappeared never to be seen again. Therefore customer service is disappointing. There is no information such as maps, places to eat etc. Etc. And no reception. Had to walk to tourist information for help. Accomodation...
Read moreApartment is clean, fresh, great in-town location….it’s a pity our window looked directly into someone else’s apartment, just a simple white chiffon curtain would have rectified ,as all it had was a blackout curtain, and you need light and privacy in 40 degrees….but… and it’s a big but….We did not like the whole deposit set up…We saw no one at check in …no one at checkout. We were unable to do a visual inspection of the property with the owner to agree any damage. €150 Euros extra was taken from our account. We had a message to say it was like a ‘car rental agreement’ yet any car I have ever hired, visual agreed inspections are mandatory. We had to take photos of minor flaws on arrival, to cover ourselves…We don’t want to do this on holiday….it has taken endless emails, to the owner and Booking.com to get our deposit back…in the end our bank has had to step in and deal with it….yes seriously…it’s that painful……..hence the one...
