Less than 0!!! If it is possible to give negative score, then I honestly would give to this place less then 0. All is about the service - in one word - terrible! It is the first time in my life when I see a waitress (a girl with glasses and short black hair) that stay without doing anything in front of 4 or maybe more tables with waiting clients and you couldn’t guess why… We were waiting more than 30 minutes (also another customers), ask her kindly for the menu, and nothing. We decided to leave and I ask her if there is a problem because she won’t serve us (a lot of clients around us also left after a long waiting time) and than she told me - yes, you need to ask me before sitting, you need to learn to wait! It was not a problem for us - there are a lot of restaurants next to this one and we moved just a few meters. For the waitress it is also not a problem - it is clear that it is her capacity and way to feel important :). The only looser in the situation is the owner who is loosing...
Read moreWhat an absolute letdown. I don't think the restaurant management would ever care about reviews since they are in the heart of Plaza Mayor, therefore, people will still come regardless of the quality of their food. We were warned about these restaurants in Plaza Mayor but this one has 4.2 in Google reviews so we thought it would be alright. Oh boy we did fall to the tourist trap. My husband ordered a Margherita pizza which really tasted like the frozen supermarket pizza. I got the Bacalao - it took more than 20 minutes for it to be served. The wait would've been nothing if the dish was good. Unfortunately, it was.... just edible. It tasted like frozen Atlantic cod, heated and smothered with butter and sodium and served with tasteless greens. Overpriced and terrible food. It overall felt like a total ripoff. It was a...
Read moreHonestly, I was very disappointed. The rating showed 4.3, so I was keen to try it, but I should have read the reviews more carefully instead of relying just on the stars.
The service was terrible – the staff were rude and dismissive. It took 15 minutes just to clean the table we sat at. I asked three times for a spoon to stir the Sangria, and it never came. When our tapas arrived, it took another 10 minutes for them to bring plates and cutlery, so by the time we could eat, the food was already semi-cold.
The paella was a huge disappointment: under-seasoned, the rice wasn’t cooked properly, and unlike most restaurants in Spain, they didn’t provide a bowl for empty shells. The only thing they were quick about was cleaning the table after we finished and bringing us the bill.
Overall, I would not recommend this...
