Chinese restaurant Jia Jia — Restaurant in Madrid

The worst Chinese restaurant you can go to in Madrid, read the reviews carefully. I did not read before and had a very unpleasant experience. I ordered a dish whose picture was shown on the door and they served me something that did not look like anything, when I made the claim to the woman who attended she took the dish away and said there was no dish, she threw us out of the restaurant without us having disrespected her, I asked for the complaint form and they did not want to give it to me. I called the police because the mistreatment was unbelievable, that woman is really explosive, on top of that she accused me of not having paid her for a dish. But, if I ordered two dishes and she only wanted to serve me one, I didn't even touch it (I didn't eat it) and she didn't let me order another dish, what is the idea that I am going to pay for a dish that I am not going to eat and if only I am going to eat and they don't let the other person at my table order as well? That's why he accused me of not wanting to pay for the dish. They really don't know how to treat the public, and now I realize that I should have read before. //// El peor restaurante chino al que puedes ir en Madrid, lean las críticas que por algo lo ponen!! Yo no leí antes y tuve una experiencia muy desagradable. Pedí un plato cuya foto aparecía en la puerta y me sirvieron algo que no se parecía a nada, cuando hice la reclamación a la mujer que atendía me quitó el plato y me dijo que no había plato, nos echó del restaurante sin que le hubiéramos faltado al respeto, pedí la hoja de reclamaciones y no me la quisieron dar. Llamé a la policía porque el maltrato era increíble, esa mujer es realmente explosiva, encima me acusó de no haberle pagado un plato. Pero, si yo pedí dos platos y ella sólo me quiso servir uno, ni siquiera lo toqué (no me lo comí) y no me dejó pedir otro plato, ¿qué es eso de que voy a pagar por un plato que no me voy a comer y si sólo me lo voy a comer yo y no dejan que la otra persona de mi mesa pida también? Por eso me acusó de no querer pagar el plato. Realmente no saben tratar al público, y ahora me doy cuenta de que debería haber...

The food here is authentic and flavorful, but the portions are shockingly small for the price. I ordered the fried eggplant (€8.5) and the family dry pot (€14.95, la casa cazuela cliente) to go. While the taste was good, the portion sizes left me disappointed.

For context, “Pai Dang” in Chinese suggests affordable street food, but this felt more like overpriced dishes from a hole-in-the-wall establishment. The dry pot, in particular, was so tiny that it’s hard to justify the cost.

If you’re looking for better value, I’d recommend Mis Gogo Mala Dry Pot down the street—it offers much more generous portions and better bang...

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Madrid. I love spicy food, and it seems like a lot of restaurants accommodate to European intolerance for spice; for me, there's nothing worse than sweet Chinese food that's labeled "spicy."
