I eat sandwiches like I breathe air. I had heard a lot about this place from online reviews and different platforms so I made sure I made a pitstop here on my Madrid tour.
Throughout my life I’ve made a ton of sandwiches and ate even more sandwiches muhahah.
This would be my top 10 not top five. The quality of service was a five out of five they were very polite spoke many languages and were patient with my order. The sandwich itself was trying to be this hype, unique focaccia bread and sliced meat with different types of sauces and creams and toppings.
The bread could have been a little warmer, fresh, flavorful, needed more spices, herbs and olive oil, would’ve enjoyed more crunchy exterior yet softer insides.
Overall 4.1/5
You should still try this for a unique American Italian sandwich. The mortadella and the vegetarian sandwich...
Read moreI recently stumbled upon this quaint Italian sandwich joint, and it was a delightful find. Their focaccia is a true standout, boasting the perfect balance of softness and crispness, providing the ideal canvas for the mouthwatering fillings within.
Due to its small size, it's best suited for take-away, but don't let that deter you. The intimate atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a cozy spot to grab a quick bite on the go.
And let's talk about the stracciatella - it's an absolute game-changer. Creamy, indulgent, and bursting with flavor, it takes the sandwiches to a whole new level.
In summary, this spot is a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic Italian sandwich experience. With its excellent focaccia, convenient take-away option, and heavenly stracciatella, it's a culinary journey worth...
Read moreThis spot is worth the hype. Divorare makes amazing sandwiches on homemade focaccia, using fresh Italian ingredients. If you order a sandwich with meat, it is sliced to-order. The calidad precio is amazing— every sandwich is under 10€ and it’s definitely a full meal. You could even order one and split it with a friend for a lighter snack. Staff was so friendly and attentive. This place is really like a deli, so you can see the products and the sandwiches being made. There’s a few bar stools to eat at the counter, but not necessarily a place you’d linger at for too long. They also sell Italian sodas and, if you love the focaccia (you will), you can take some home for 2€ a piece. Looking forward to returning and eating my way through their entire menu. Totally the sandwich spot madrid...
