El Lugar De Martina — Restaurant in Madrid

Excellent restaurant, an amazing atmosphere and delicious food. The day’s menu contains interesting options and very tasty all of them. The crew was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back anytime. Price was good considering both the quantity and the quality. I would just like to mention that everything gets almost ruined by the attitude of one of the waitresses, a mature woman that was very rude and got us the impression she was pulling us out of the place, take care of this… small details can ruin the day of tourists and families. The rest was amazing, the young lady serving us, the chef and Marco. Very attentive! I loved this place!

We came to Madrid 2 years ago to celebrate our anniversary and accidentally stumbled across this place and had a really memorable day just whiling away the hours with beers and snacks so when we came to Madrid again this year (2024) we knew we had to revisit this place and I’m so glad to say that the visit was just as memorable. As soon as you walk through the door you are met with a lovely comforting smell of mulled wine. During our last visit I commented on how good the beer was and that remains the same; this place serves some of the best Mahou beer in Madrid. And as for service, the barman Marco was the perfect blend of being welcoming, polite and attentive. I recommend coming before midday so you can get a table in the bar next...

We stumbled upon Martina’s after a long day traveling and walking around seeing some sites in Madrid. We got a table on the patio which was very pleasant. Our waiter was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had the risotto with asparagus which was very good, and some specials including artichokes in bechamel sauce and tuna tartar. Oh and a yummy dessert! I wish I had taken pictures but it was a but dark. Overall very good value for the quality and nice ambiance for a weeknight meal outside.
