Honestly the food was amazing and it even reminded me of the times I was eating ramen in Japan. The taste and consistency of the broth was really good and they cool the eggs perfectly.
The design and atmosphere inside IGO Ramen is great as you can see a lot of drawings influenced from anime fans such as Naruto, Bleach, etc.
The fruit juice was amazing and to be honedt it has been one of the best juices I have ever had in any restaurant.
Regarding the staff, they were extremely friendly and cool when we were inside ordering and eating but my only real concern is that I was outside queueing to get my ramen for 2 hours and a half and in that time not even one of the staff came out to say "it could take 30min" or something similar which is extremely bad as it literally took my friend and I 2 houes to have our lunch when we could have eaten somewhere else.
Nevertheless, the food quality was great and therefore I won't complain too much about this.
Maybe the solution is to bring a model where people can only stay in there for an hour or an hour an a half because honestly most of the people were on their table for more than 2 hours which makes absolute no sense if you are a famous restaurant and there is people...
Read moreFood was pretty okay. Tasted fine, just not as good as I’m used to. Price-quality ratio was good. It’s very cheap and the portions are filling. We paid around €13 for an entree, a main course and a drink pp.
Kara-age: tasty, but a little bit dry Beef stick: bland, could’ve been hotter. Octopus balls: very interesting, good taste. Ceasar chicken ramen: Good. Pork belly ramen: Nice.
You can adjust most of the dishes to your liking. You can choose different kinds of broth, whether you want vegetables or not and if you want it vegetarian.
Gyoza ramen: tasty gyoza! Didn’t like the broth as much. But it’s weird that it’s underneath the category ‘ramen’, when there’s no ramen?
The interior was really cool and cosy. Service was fast and the servers were very polite. They...
Read moreSince they removed the ramen menus from dinners and weekends, I don't recommend this place anymore.
The food is still very good but now it doesn't have a fair price anymore. If you go from Monday to Friday at lunch you can still get a good meal for your money, for dinner and weekends you are forced to choose your ramen one ingredient at a time and in the end paying about 30% more than what you used to. Maybe some people like that but for me it's extremely confusing and expensive. I just want to choose a dish, sit down and eat.
Makes me sad to say this because last time I reviewed the place I called it the best ramen in Madrid, but now it's going in the...
