The Vindaloo was good, nowhere near as hot as I'm used to from my favourite place in London, but very good and tasty indeed. Sides of rice or naan bread are there in big variety and ordered separately, which sadly drives the bill up quite a bit. One would expect a curry at ~10€ to include at least a basic side dish like plain rice or neutral naan.
Both Cobra and Kingfisher are good brands of beer, and it's seldom that you get those, so I was all the more happy about that. The Kingfisher went well with the food. Although I must say that I didn't see any types of Lassi on the menu, which I thought of as strange. Mayhaps they have it and it's just not on the menu.
The decor in the locale didn't seem very Indian to me, and all the white that was featured made it a lot less cozy than I would have liked it to be. The waiters were very friendly and attentive, so that's another plus.
A bit of a weak 4, all in all, but the food was delicious, considering the decor, and both the facts that the hottest dish wasn't totally authentic and that the price was rather high... but the taste is what counts in this case, and it was very tasty, so I...
Read moreI had a worst experience in this restaurant as the waiter behavior is pathetic no manners at all . They don’t know how to talk to costumers . I seriously don’t recommend this restaurant in Madrid . I had to drink water in an emergency situation but the waiter asked me to stop in a very odd way and he did not let me to drink . It’s not written or pasted anywhere that outside water is not allowed
You even know that you made a mistake that’s the reason you are waiting eagerly for my comment. You are no one to say that I can afford or not.If you are able to afford for everything then why are you working there.i will keep my attitude with me first change by yourself you are working there and have to give respect and accept the feedback from customers.I don’t care since when you’re running this restaurant but first try to teach your staff proper manners to behave with customers. If there is such rule you have to say politely you should not say stop immediately drinking water even if someone dies out of spice.Stop commenting about me and teach your staff some respect towards...
Read moreAs a lover of Indian cuisine, I must say that my visit to Curry Masala was an absolute delight that left a lasting impression on me. The restaurant's vibrant and inviting ambiance instantly transported me to the heart of India, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal. The attention to detail in the decor, with its beautiful Indian-inspired artwork and soft lighting, further enhanced the overall dining experience. I had the opportunity to sample the traditional Lamb Rogan Josh, and it was a true culinary experience. The tender lamb pieces were beautifully marinated and cooked in a rich, velvety gravy that was bursting with flavors.
Apart from the impeccable main dishes, the accompaniments were equally impressive. The naan bread was freshly baked, soft, and served piping hot, and the fragrant basmati rice was cooked to perfection.
I recommend Curry Masala to anyone seeking an authentic Indian dining experience in the...
