This place has now become my favorite Mexican in the city of Madrid! We arrived and were shown straight away to the beautifully decorated restaurant downstairs. Service was fast & very friendly. The food is amazing. The €12 nachos are better than I’ve tried in a long time. Everything we had was fresh & importantly, hot. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced, very affordable unlike most places. 10/10 for the classic margarita too! I highly recommend this great place. I just had one of the best food experiences at El Rey de Tacos in Madrid. I ordered the Tacos Gringos Pastor and the Taco Mole, both were absolutely fantástico. Perfectly seasoned, full of flavor, and super satisfying.

But what really made this visit unforgettable was the outstanding service. Warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from the moment I walked in. You can tell they care not just about the food, but about the people enjoying it. It felt like being taken care of by friends who love what they do.

I’m on a work trip visiting Madrid, Spain from Los Angels. I walked out of my hotel to start walking to the Prado Museum and just my luck… it started pouring down rain! It was raining so hard that I had to take cover in El Rey De Tacos and boy am I glad I did!! I ended up sitting down to eat lunch and WOW!! Some of the yummiest tacos and quesadillas I’ve ever had!!
