The food was a bit expensive but the portion size was huuuge so it ended up being justified. I liked their bibimbap with a bit of soccarrat (crispy rice) on the bottom. Their Korean fried chicken tasted more like general tso chicken (an American Chinese tribute to fried chicken) than what I expected but it was still good. They gave us more guchujjang (not sure if I spelled that right) to put in the bibimbap so I happily added all of them for more burn. I also really liked their cold noodles, it was perfect for a hot summer day. Atmosphere was nice. Given that it’s near retiro I kind of expected to be fancy, but it was a bit too fancy for my level of dining (aka broke style) The service was good, I was a bit disappointed by their banchan. They failed to inform us that they charge 2€pp for banchan, and it was just 3 little disappointing things that they offered. To be fair I know Korean food to be all about banchan so that was not expected. In general, 8.5/10 experience. It was great but I probably...

We had high hopes for Han Gang, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown. We ordered the beef glass noodles, which came with just four tiny, thin slices of beef—barely anything for the price. The noodles themselves were chewy and undercooked, making the dish unpleasant to eat.
We also ordered hot tea, which turned out to be low-quality , something you can buy a whole boxes for less then $2, and the seafood tofu soup lacked any real flavor. The squid in the soup was especially bad—tough and impossible to chew.
To make matters worse, the service was poor. When we politely pointed out that the beef portion in the noodles was unacceptably small, the staff was dismissive and showed no intention to correct the issue.
Overall, this was one of the most disappointing meals we’ve had in Madrid. Definitely not worth the visit, especially with so many better Korean...
Read moreWe went here for dinner on our forst day upon arrival in Madrid, and it was definitely such a good decision to come here for really authentic and super delicious Korean food.
Everything we ordered was freshly cooked and oh so tasty. The Bibim Neng Myun (cold noodles with gochujang sauce) and Oching Oh Bok Kum (spicy stir-fried squid with vegetables) were especially delicious, as the taste was so well balanced. A big shoutout to the cook and also the very friendly service.
(Also want to add, that we didn't even have food that delicious on our trip to Seoul last summer.)
We wanted to come here again on our stay in Madrid, but unfortunately, they went on summer break.
Saving this gem for our next time we are in Madrid though!
If you happen to look for an authentic Korean restaurant with exquisite food definitely give...
