What's a wine lover anxious to learn what to buy (and drink) to do?! Enter Luke Darracott. This guy knows so much about wine; he loves the stuff, and it shows. He'll ask you what you like and suggest new options, describe the regions/places where they are grown, and provide a little story for each bottle. They offer three wine tasting daily; and an evening wine tasting is a perfect way to begin your night! We did an evening wine tasting with Luke, which included tasting, learning, and laughing.

Knowledgeable wine experts, immersive experience! Great place to purchase wines, vermouths and sherries from the many D.O.’s of Spain. The wine shop also provides informative tasting what will greatly expand your knowledge of Spanish viniculture. We did two wine tastings (covering much of the same general information, but with different wines) and the vermouth and sherry tastings. Even if you think you know a lot about wine, you’ll learn loads because of the unique history of Spain’s wine industry (e.g., the Franco years and rapid economic expansion afterward). Our knowledge of Spanish wines is now tremendously higher thanks to our visit to Madrid & Darracott. If you are new to trying wines of Spain, perhaps first time travelers to Spain as we are, consider booking a tasting at M&D. A guided tasting of 3 wines (with generous pours) and lots of information about wine regions of Spain will be provided.
