Maloney's — Restaurant in Madrid

Maloney's is a fun, cheap, authentic dive bar that's best to go to with your friends. It's one small room with a beer pong table and a small bar. The bartenders speak some English, can mix whatever you like, and apparently refrain from refilling bottles with cheap stuff. The crowd is mostly young locals hanging out with their friends but the bar occasionally attracts crowds of (mostly American) students, as you can tell by their decor of dollar bills and college memoribilia. Maloney's has cheap shots (2 Euro), beer (1.5 Euro?) and also seems to offer its 10 Euro unlimited beer/sangria pass on many nights. It starts happening after 23:00, and you can often find groups airing themselves outside of its small wooden facade because the interior is rather stuffy...

I had a great time the days I was in Madrid, the host Cristian and his friend David made us feel very comfortable and calm, I loved that they treated us in a very familiar way and their invitation shots are crazy, the best Pre-party nights were there and the prices were excellent.
