It used to be my favorite Italien, but I won’t come back.
On Friday evening, the 13th of September, I had a booking for 2, downstairs. Being so accurate, so the owner can have a word with his personell.
My girlfriend is pregnant and thus we asked if the Albondigas come with cheese. The waiter said „of course“ as if we were stupid. However, we obviously asked because my girlfriend is pregnant. After she told him that she can’t have cheese because of the pregnancy he said she shouldn’t worry and it’s fine. An answer which I wouldn’t give if I wouldn’t have a clue about what a pregnant woman can eat and not.
We went for another starter and wanted to order mains. I asked to add some Jamon Cocido to my Diavola, which I have ordered already plenty of times in this place as I used to come regularly. The waiter again reacted super rude and said that I can’t order this as it doesn’t fit well together. I told him that I’ve ordered this already plenty of times in this very restaurant and he challenged me on that and said that this is impossible and that I basically can’t order this.
End of story - we left and wont come back for our monthly...
Read moreA friend of mine recommended this place based on a report she watched last year on Italian TV while she was on vacation in Sicily. It said they had the best pizza in Madrid. Even though I came for the pizzas, and they were indeed delicious, I was surprised by the pasta. We had the ragú one and I have to say it was AMAZING, according to me. The service was all you expect when you’re looking for good service (10/5) (attentive, patient, no pushy, quick, respectful, nice, proper, funny even and they let us know when the kitchen was closing), the waiter recommended a super nice vino. Also tiramisú was delicious. If you’re looking to dine out with good friends in Barrio Justicia, no fancy, just good and honest food and service for a very reasonable price, this place won’t disappoint you. I absolutely loved it, so as my friends. And for sure...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I eat a Sunday evening, and we were looking for some different food, as she was getting tired of the Spanish cousin. We chose this restaurant, as it was close. And we wasn’t disappointed at any time. We got a buratta, pizza and a delicious pasta and everything was perfect. Great taste and wonderful looking food🍕🥗🍝
The only thing we would like to change/would hoped was there, is that you can see the menu from outside the restaurant and at the website. We needed to go inside and scan the QR code, which made us uncomfortable in the begging, as the waiters were waiting at us😅
Over all a...
