We visited Los 33 on a Saturday night during our trip to Madrid—without a reservation. There was a line of about 10–12 people ahead of us, most of whom had joined the waiting list weeks in advance. We decided to take a chance and waited about an hour, eventually getting lucky with two seats at the bar. The ambiance inside absolutely lives up to the hype. Warm lighting, great music, and a lively yet intimate vibe. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially as we don’t speak Spanish—they took the time to walk us through the menu and offer recommendations. We started with the grilled bikini sandwich, a must-try. It’s a simple dish, but executed to perfection. We also tried the Chamizo fried pastry—nicely done, but didn’t quite stand out the way the other dishes did. For mains, we ordered the entraña wagyu steak, which was cooked flawlessly. It was paired beautifully with grilled cauliflower served over a surprisingly delicious purée—an unexpected highlight of the meal. Drinks were spot-on too. My wife enjoyed her Tiki Taka, while I had two vermouths that complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, a great experience with excellent food, impeccable service, and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're in Madrid—just plan ahead with a reservation if possible.

I had high hopes returning to Los33—especially after hearing all the buzz and seeing their Michelin mention—but honestly, it didn’t quite live up to the hype or the two-month wait. I had been before they gained that recognition and remember a much better overall experience. This time, the food was good (especially the roasted carrots, which were a standout) and the cocktails were solid, but the service left a lot to be desired. We ordered the cecina de wagyu as the starter and the wagyu steak, cooked medium rare, but the meat wasn’t as juicy or flavorful as expected. And just as we were finishing up, a staff member came over and abruptly told us we had to leave because they needed the table—something that was never mentioned when we booked or sat down. The tone felt unnecessarily harsh, almost like we were being scolded, which really put a damper on the night. I understand busy nights and tight turnarounds, but the way it was handled definitely affected the overall vibe. A good meal, but not the memorable or welcoming experience I had hoped for.
