OMINO — Restaurant in Palma

I visited Omino with my partner back in June for a long-anticipated dinner in Palma de Mallorca. From the start, the reservation process was refreshingly simple, and upon arrival we were greeted warmly by a staff member who led us to our table. The space is small, intimate and cosy, carrying an international vibe without feeling crowded — exactly the kind of place I’d hoped it would be. According to the restaurant’s website, the indoor capacity is listed as up to 34 guests. For the dinner itself: my partner ordered the Bosconero, which she found phenomenal, comforting yet immediately familiar. I went with the Pizza di Trulli, a dish bursting with texture and flavour, and it absolutely delivered. For dessert we had a Pavlova filled with mango-passionfruit curd and whipped cream, served on a raspberry mirror, delicate, sweet, and a perfect end to the meal. Nice outside seating area and the staff was nice and polite.

Emailed them before the day of our booking and asked if they accommodate vegans and they said yes and that they had soy creme. I do not agree thay they could accommodatevegans though.. The meal was very disappointing. They took away all animal based ingredients and did not replace it with anything else. I ate pasta with a sauce and a few tiny pieces of zucchini. I could have made a better tasting simple pasta dish myself athome in 15 minutes for very cheap. They did have a nice vegan starter though. But they could not offer any Vegan dessert.

These days, good vegan options are necessary for any restaurant.

We had a fantastic evening at Omino by Ingrosso in Palma. The night started off perfectly with beautifully crafted drinks – refreshing, vibrant, and a real highlight that set the tone for the evening.

The starter was nice, though nothing extraordinary, but it was quickly overshadowed by an absolutely excellent main course that really showcased the kitchen’s quality and attention to flavor. Every bite was spot on.

The staff were warm, attentive, and made sure we were well looked after throughout the night without ever being intrusive.
