Delicious food, wonderful service, and a great deal for their menu del dia during the week (12 euros!). I've been to this family-run place twice now for their menu del dia and have always been impressed with the various options (which include vegan and vegetarian), the efficient and kind service (by the husband in the husband-and-wife team), and the delicious food (cooked by the wife of the duo). They are usually busy during the week but they make sure people don't have to wait too long (and if you need to wait a bit, no big deal! it's a family run place and there is only the one owner who does ALL of the order-taking, serving, making the coffee, AND taking care of payments...while it seems like there are 1 or 2 people doing ALL the food prep/cooking AND washing...I'm in awe of how well the place is run...especially when you consider how busy it often gets!)....the desserts really stand out...as do their salads, which are really fresh....I've only had their roasted chicken and quail options, which were fine...but honestly, their fish and vegetarian options looked amazing when I eyed my neighbor's choices....so will definitely select those options in the future....since this place is popular, get there early if you want to have your pick from all the menu options (for the...
Read moreWe’ve eaten here five times on our three visits to Santiago, across several years, usually eating the Menu del Dia. This always features one specifically-vegan item in each of the “Primero” and “Segundo” sections (and they’re happy to make other changes, like omitting the Tuna from a “Ensalata Mixta” to make it vegetarian). The prices are probably mid-range for the location, but everything about the food goes beyond what you’d expect … and the deserts are exceptional for a “menu”, both in quality and number of options. Plus, the menu (but not the deserts list!) changes each day. As a vegetarian/omnivorous couple we find this an ideal place to eat, and can’t recommend it too highly. One small caveat … the restaurant does not support a large staff, so if it’s busy when you visit you may have to wait for your meal - but if you’re not in a hurry it’s well worth it. English-language copies of the menus...
Read moreRestaurante pequeno e acolledor, no centro da zona monumental compostelana.
A atención é boa e agradábel.
No outono e no inverno, unha calefacción máis eficiente, agradeceríase moito.
As sobremesas, sabrosas e hai onde escoller.
