El Repulgue - Empanadas — Restaurant in Seville

Absolutely loved our visit to El Repulgue – Empanadas! The empanadas were nothing short of spectacular – full of flavor, perfectly baked, and with really creative fillings that go far beyond the usual. Our favorites were the Bacon & Ciruela, which had the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the Solomillo al Whiskey – rich, tender, and incredibly satisfying.

You cannot walk Calle Amor de Dios without a stop to buy and try some of these excellent empanadas. Around 20 different tastes, made with love in a small factory close to Sevilla... and you notice with every bite. The empanadas were good (not great), but the service this evening was horrible. We were buying many for a group & the server was very rude & impatient with us as we were choosing the flavors we wanted. There are other empanada shops in town, so we will not be going back to this establishment.

As a follow up to my earlier review- we went to Empanadas Malvón the next day & even though it’s a chain, the empanadas were much better & the lady serving us was so nice,...
