this was the worst food experience of my adult life. i was so glad there was a vegan bar in seville and i thought i would go there every day during our week long stay. we went there once for dinner, we ordered 6 tapas on a promotional offer and two drinks - beer and sangria or vermouth. we ordered chicharrones, montadito alioli non prawns, ensaladilla, vegarones in vinegar, non chicken skewer and potato tortilla. the sandwiches were not bad but nothing interesting - they were very tiny and not much content, the potato tortilla was ok but cold, straight from the fridge (and it's january), the salad was tasteless, salty, swimming in white sauce, the zucchini was probably the best, very sour, but it didn't improve the taste of the other dishes. the skewers were the worst - they were cold, terribly fatty and hard, tasted like old meat, and my jaw hurt from trying to chew them. after that meal we felt bad all day... the price was 24.50€ (the 0.50€ is probably service) i've eaten vegan food in many places in europe and i know how it can taste and how fresh and delicious it can be... it was disgusting the service was ok but the waitress had such a strong spanish accent when speaking english that I didn't understand a single word. the toilet was ok and big, there was toilet paper and even free pads.

If you're eating a vegan diet, I'm telling you @veganrocksevilla is unlike anywhere you've been, and the food is unlike anything you've eaten. In my few months of eating plant-based, the places I've eaten out at are chic, middle class, upmarket, cool, hipster great, of course, but that's the vibe. Vegan Rock, however, is very different. Rustic and rudimentary, it feels like a proper, old school cafe; a fry-up type of place; those old motorway greasy spoons. The food, then, is basic and brilliant. No random herbs and green bits; no drizzle of olive oil and balsamic: just honest, solid grub. I had the "serrantino no bacon", a whacking great big sandwich crammed with seitan. Wow! A protein-packed feast that would delight a meat-eater and make them reconsider what they eat. My wife had the tapas. Loved this place, lurking down a gritty little street, a bit off the beaten track. So cheap, too. If you're in Sevilla, it's a must.

I hate to give bad reviews for vegan places, I'm vegan and only want to support them. But I have to be honest, the food was really bad. The chefs need to do a culinary class and try other vegan places to improve...I regret not reading the reviews. It's like they're living up to the stereotypical white people food AND stereotype of vegan food being bad (and I've had amazing food all over europe) but this one ain't it. I ordered the tapas, the seitan was so stiff and chewy, the quiche thing was cold...is it meant to be cold why? And the prawn sandwich was so basic...not worth buying at all. I didn't bother trying anything else. The waitress was nice tho and the toilets were nice and spacious and space was ok. Just the food needs to be massively improved. Bad look on Spanish food.

I really appreciate the concept behind Vegan Rock and was excited to try a place offering a variety of vegan meat alternatives. It’s great to see more vegan options available, and I was hopeful for a flavorful, satisfying meal.

Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations. The food was heavily fried, but lacked the seasoning and texture needed to balance that richness. The shrimp dish, in particular, was extremely oily — the chips were almost floating in what looked like a pool of oil. It made it difficult to enjoy or finish the meal.

We also found the service a bit unusual. For example, the owner poured our canned drinks into glasses at the table while we were still drinking from them, which felt a bit awkward and unnecessary.

The space itself has no windows, which made the atmosphere feel a bit closed in, and overall, the pricing felt high considering the quality of the food and the overall experience.

I truly hope this feedback is helpful, because I really want to see vegan restaurants thrive — especially ones with a unique concept like this. With some refinement in seasoning, presentation, and service, Vegan Rock has the potential to be...

Me and my partner decided to go to vegan rock for dinner after seeing all the positive reviews, but were let down by both the food and the service in this place. When we arrived, we went inside to ask if there were any tables available and waited for around 5 minutes to be seated. We ordered a Spanish omelette each, the baguette with seitan and no bacon to share and my partner also ordered the potato salad.

The tortillas came first followed shortly by the potato salad. Although the tortillas were tasty, my partner's was very cold in the centre and they seemed as though they had been microwaved. The potato salad was far too salty and couldn't be eaten. We decided at that point not to have the baguette and pay for what we had already had.

Many other people in the restaurant seemed to be struggling to be served as a few people went up to the bar throughout the short time we were there. The place seemed to be very understaffed and the staff that were there were very unhelpful and brash. Overall a very underwhelming experience and not a place we will be...
