If you’re looking for the fantastic quality of meat with excellent service - I would recommend this place! We came here not the typical dinner time here in València but around 730pm, but that wasn’t an issue for them, and they speak English as well, which very helpful for us though we always tried to talk in Spanish whenever we can as we’re still learning. Anyways, let’s move on with the food and quality. While waiting for our food, they’ve served bread with slices of sausage on the house, which by the way, very savory. I thought that was a great way not only to offer for customers while waiting - kind of nice to hear it’s on the house 😊 We’ve ordered: Grilled veggies for starter Followed by Pork for my hubby and entrecôte for me The pork was tasty and cooked nicely along with baked As for me, Entrecôte- it served first rare where I asked for medium-rare but no problem - with their attentiveness, I got my meat back with perfect doneness. Very happy with the quality and taste of the meat. And it’s soo good, no joke. Along with our food, we’ve ordered red wine and a pint of beer. And end up with a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for the dessert, which good and not so sweet - perfect for our palette. And on top of that, we’ve paid less than 60€ for two - which I think a very reasonable price for the quality and service we experienced. My no.1 place to go when I’m craving for red meat and totally to recommend you to try and let me know if I got it wrong 😉

2025 . Fun talking about Buenos Aires with the waiters and the food was everything one would expect from an Argentine style asador... Excellent chorizo with the requisite chimichurri to slather on it , pipping, bubbling hot provoleta spiked with oregano to smear on the bread , real beef empandas that brought back childhood memories of B.A and of course a prime steak cooked to perfection.. Excellent wine by the glass and at the end of the meal the in house maté digestif which was stunning and evocative ... what a great idea.. one I will steal.... super lunch in the center of town..Gracias! 2023:Arriving early for dinner by Spanish standards without a reservation on a weekend I was seated but warned that I'd only have an hour and a half to eat. I had a good laugh at that one.. It certainly didn't take that long.. The complimentary chorizo on baguette was a nice opening touch and delicious with their house salsa criollo which I slathered on everything..MMMM . I wish i could have taken some home.. The empanada Tucuman style brought me back to my childhood in Argentina ..It was the most authetic I've had for a long time. They recommended the sirloin which was a big steak but I think in retrospect the ribeye would have been the way to go...I had plenty to take with me for a sandwich the next day. Wine by the glass was generously poured and the service snappy but friendly enough. I would certainly go back.

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at El Porteño Asador Argentino in Valencia. The food was truly outstanding, but it was the combination of the delicious dishes and the impeccable service that really made this restaurant stand out. The steak was cooked to perfection and the wine selection was superb. The staff were extremely knowledgeable about the menu (Maria who served us)and recommended the perfect wine to pair with my steak. It was evident that the team took pride in their work and were passionate about the quality of the food and the dining experience. The service at El Porteño Asador Argentino was exemplary. The staff were very friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. They went above and beyond to make sure that I had a great experience, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend El Porteño Asador Argentino to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Valencia. The food is top-notch, the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, and the steak and wine combination is a must-try. We had an exceptional dining experience thanks to the outstanding service provided by our waiter, Martin! From the moment we sat down, Martin was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we felt welcome. The tasting menu was a culinary journey, with each of the courses expertly prepared and presented. Martin took the time to explain the menu, including the beverage options, which added to our appreciation of the meal. The food was, without a doubt, delicious. Each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. The portion sizes were perfect, and the pacing of the meal was well-balanced. What truly made our evening special, however, was Martin's exceptional service. He was always available to answer questions, refill our glasses, and ensure that we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience, look no further! Martin and the team will take care of you, and the tasting menu is an absolute must-try. The atmosphere is what is truly amazing about El Porteño. The concept of the restaurant is consistent and cozy. This is the place where you want to book your table. When it comes to the food, being an Argentinianrestaurant, the meat is what you come here for. While the empanadas truly impressed us, the overall feel of the tasting menu did not impress us except for the entrecote. The chorizo was too greasy and lacked in taste. This is to say that the quality was good, but when you compare to other well established argentinian restaurants in town, the meat couldn't compete. The dessert was rather bland and not impressive - a mix of dulce de leche, Ice cream, flan and pancake. Perhaps the other menu would have been a better choice... Still, if you are looking for a great place to dine, El Porteño is a great choice and it wins with it's very cozy classy atmosphere.

Tender steak that melted mi corazón! This place is very clean and well presented. The waiters were so polite and friendly, made us feel welcome and looked after. The food was magnificent. I recommend trying the empanadas as they offer a lot of variety in their options. The tenderloin steak is to die for. I would adjust your usually cooking preference and ask for the steak to be cooked to a higher level. For us as English, what we would usually have as a medium rare (obviously the standard in UK) was more of a rare here. But as a huge steak, the outside would be ruined if it were cooked too much. But the actual quality and flavour here were exceptional. Perfecto! And I’m not a fan of potatoes but they were perfectly soft and seasoned, and flavoursome.
