Let me start with the negative aspects to end on a positive note. 😁 While waiting with my family for a table, we saw about 12 groups of people in various sizes being seated ahead of us. Some sat down at tables that became available on their own, while others seemed to bypass the line due to the staff’s poor queue management. It wasn’t very comfortable to stand and wait for around 25 minutes, watching people either seat themselves without asking or, in one case, a well-dressed couple—without a reservation—being given a table earlier. This was really disappointing. The staff should treat everyone equally; there’s a saying that “clothes don’t make the man.”
All it would have taken was a simple apology. Waiting on a Saturday isn’t an issue for us, but being treated like that is.
As for the food, it was truly delicious, so I definitely recommend it. However, the staff could at least make an effort to communicate a bit in English if they understand what is being said to them in this language. This is an international restaurant, so it would be helpful to know the basics of English and respond in kind. 👍
I’m not sure if I’d want to come back and see whether the issue of prioritizing some guests over others in the queue has been addressed. That said, the food...
Read moreA small unpretentious almost kiosk like frontage with a terrace outside for dining. It almost looks like a cafe and can easily be missed...do not miss this place...! The service was friendly, courteous and professional. After a long hot day we were a little frazzled and the menu looks a little limited. I struggle in Catalonia with the concept of tapas...I spend a lot of time in Andalucia and this drives my concept of tapas ...a bit of 'free' food with your beer...so when I see tapas billed at €18 I struggle to understand what I am getting...I only say this so you understand why I shied away from the tapas menu. This is an Italian/ Spanish fusion sort of a place so myself and partner veered towards the pasta. Thank goodness we did I had seafood spaghetti..beyond wonderful...it consisted of spaghetti of course with prawns, mussels, squid and clams. In a sparse sauce. In all honesty I could have thrown away the seafood and just eaten the pasta, truly wonderful. My wife had gorgonzola, apple and walnut ravioli..to quote her.." best pasta I've ever had" wine reasonably priced and very good.... a definite 5...

We ordered the cheese plate which I found a little underwhelming. The truffle one was by far the best but the others were just so similar.
We both got a pasta dish. I don’t remember the name of mine but it came with these huge noodles as pictured. The waitress made sure I understood its cooked al dente which is how I like it. My friend got a red sauce dish which was acidic for her and triggered acid reflect unfortunately.
I thought all the food was good, but not outstanding. I enjoyed my meal but I personally wouldn’t come back. The vibes were fine and I liked that it was in a quieter alley. We were 1 of maybe 3 patrons that night so it kind of...
