This few words to inform you how deeply disappointed we were after our visit in Lisa Negra. Spending a few days in Valencia, we were looking forward to enjoy a nice evening in your restaurant. Our reservation was for four people at 20:30, we were at the door three minutes early and were chased away with the sentence: we are not open yet. Once installed at the table we were waiting for the starters that the staff was not able to serve at the same time for all of us. Given the fact that one starter was a hot starter this was unfortunate. As for the main dish, two orders of Secreto Iberico were cold and the beef filet was basically raw. The béarnaise sauce came cold and the potato purée without taste. The staff took the two Iberico dished to torch them ( one could see it in the kitchen) and left the purée and sauces on the table. By the way the table didn’t seem very clean as the edges were a bit sticky. Last but not least, the lack of a friendly service did not help. My order: Seafood paella - trust me, there are many places in Valencia that are much tastier paella. Sour taste and paella not browned, (I'm not Spanish and I can't say this is what paella is supposed to be like) However, the Beef Tartare was ok. Bread served hot as well. But then there were only the stairs down: the fish was in the middle of an inadequate wife, without any spices, and it seems that it did not belong to the category - today straight from the sea to the restaurant ((( In no respectable restaurant they will start cleaning the premises in the presence of consumers. Read moreWe canceled our reservation the day before our reservation was up yet they charged us 100 euros anyway. Although we are fortunate enough that 100 euros doesn’t break the bank, we contested the fee on principle. We went to Llosa Negra which was just 100 meters away from our hotel and showed management the cellphone record that we called the day before and canceled and they said we should have emailed them. But their own reservation confirmation email indicated we should call to cancel. They then said we should have recorded the cancellation phone call and would proceed with charging us. They must be desperate and a failing restaurant. When we left the restaurant without satisfaction we spoke to four people who had just finished eating at the restaurant and they said some dishes were undercooked, others overcooked.
