The ambiance and location were great!

So was the menu on the first look.

When I received the salmon tartar I immediately saw that it had no caviar as it did on the picture in the menu. But the taste was good.

The rest was not so good unfortunately.

The fried eggplants were EXTREMELY OILY, honestly it was impossible to eat. We tried but they were so heavy. Which is a pity because the flavor was there.

Artichokes were oily and overcooked and unfortunately the beautiful octopus 🐙 was already on the overcooked side too and had a slight bitter flavor. But it was still edible, just a pity to waste such beautiful products.

The restaurant was modern and pretty and it was a shame that the bathroom was not hygienic, especially the hand dryer full of dust and dirt.

It’s a pity because it seems this could be an amazing place but it needs A LOT MORE attention to detail.

Also when we arrived the place was almost empty and we chose a spot not far from the entrance because we got a beautiful fountain view. We asked if they could close the door because it was cold outside but they refused and instead asked us to switch tables 😕

And I don’t know why exactly but my friend was really sick the next day and had to throw up. I was fine though and we ate the same things.

But she normally eats very light foods so we think it’s possible it was because the oily food...

We were looking for Sunday paella.. the outdoor table on the sunshine made us sit down right by the door but we didn’t get waiter attention for 15-20mins. After literally walking for menus we were able to order after another 15mins. Waiter was kind and polite but too many tables to look after. We were starving so got cesar salad and fried squid. The salad was absolutely fantastic presented like Michelin Star but there was barely some chicken pieces and only a little bit of mayo with the squid. Ordered paella València which came with just some calamari pieces I guessed- no chicken, rabbit or anything that was written on menu. Wanted to order coffee but it took another 15-20mins to get waiter so just asked for the bill. Toilet experience was shocking! It doesn’t reflect the price range of this place. I will not go to the details but not clean at all, no lock on the door, no soap…. If you want just glass of wine and people watching by beautiful fountain without anywhere to be in next 2 hours this might be the right place for you. Otherwise rollercoaster experience. During my recent visit to Serena Valencia, I had a mixed experience. I ordered a toast with salmon, which was absolutely delicious. The salmon was fresh and perfectly complemented the crisp toast. This dish alone made the visit worthwhile.

However, my experience with the coffee was less impressive. It was decent, but it didn't have that "wow" factor that makes a coffee memorable. It seemed a bit average compared to the high quality of the food.

A notable issue was the language barrier. The waiter did not speak English, which made communication challenging. This affected the overall dining experience, as it was difficult to ask questions or make specific requests.
