I randomly picked this restaurant for lunch based on its 4-star rating from users on Google Reviews. The place is very big, I liked its design, and everything was very clean inside. I arrived around 1:30 p.m. on a Friday, and the place was pretty empty. Only one guy was working at the bar, and he eventually served me and brought my food. From the menu, I picked the Swedish meatballs and a black tea. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a big selection of teas, so I just got a simple black tea, which was from some cheap, ordinary brand. My meatballs came out fast - about 8 minutes after I ordered. The dish included a few meatballs covered in gravy, mashed potatoes, pickles, and cranberries. The portion size was reasonable, but I wish they had added a bit more mashed potato. There was nothing extraordinary about the taste - everything was just good. Actually, the meatballs were slightly dry. It seemed like they were pre-cooked and just warmed up in the microwave. I got the same feeling about the mashed potatoes - they didn’t taste freshly made. Prices at this restaurant are reasonable. I paid around $18 for my lunch. Would I return to this place again? Probably not. Definitely not for the meatballs! Can I recommend this restaurant? Maybe, for a quick lunch if you’re looking for something decent that’s ready fast and don’t care if it’s not cooked like a master...
Read moreMy Girlfriend and I had a meal here tonight, we both had the “panerad flundra” which was breaded fish and be both thoroughly enjoyed it. It was absolutely delicious and we would recommend the food to anyone, it was a bonus that the staff were able to speak English and were very polite and helpful so I would like to say thank you to them for that.
For English speakers I would recommend searching each dish on Google translate or Google images to know what you are getting as the menu...
Read moreTerribly disappointing food. The chef seems to have no idea how the meal should be prepared. The Fried cheese was NOT the wonderful Bohemian dish i was looking for. It was wrong kind of cheese (or maybe even too old). The cheese suppose to melt, not fall in clothed and sour small pieces. They also seem to think that Tartar sauce means Bearnaise with some chives in it, that's so very wrong! This was the worst food experience in...
