The worst experience of service in my life, this is the second time eating at Pane Fresco. My first time was the best experience I have had of service. However this time it was different, the guy that I suspect to be the host gave us a table by elevator that they use to put dirty plates when there was clearly other better tables available (it was not busy at all), second of all it took them 20 minutes to come to our table to take the order. All of the waiters looked at us but no one even bothered to take our order. Third thing was the comments that we heard when they took people up to the second floor “We have the best table for you guys upstairs”. The worst part of our experience was that we unfortunately got hair in our food, in both the bread and pasta so we refused to eat it. The pizza itself was really good and thankfully hairless! We didn’t have to pay for the pasta and the bread but the host who took our payment made it seem like it was our hair in the pasta even though it was a blonde hair and we’re both brunettes, It was just a very unnecessary comment of the host and we do not understand what outcome he was hoping from us to say. We believe that we got mistreated because of our age, both of us are young and we walked in with hoodies on. I know for a fact that this restaurant won’t read any of the comments that they get because they simply don’t care. So my advice to every one that want to eat pasta: do not come to this place. If the restaurant denies everything I wrote this is the fotos of the evening and...
Read moreWorst service ever and I remember the food as beeing much better. I had the ragu and it was so watery. If I could leave minus tip I would have (of course I didn’t leave any). What’s wrong with saying ”Hello and welcome” when you enter the restaurant and when you sit down at the table? People doesn’t seem to like working there and it really shows on every level.
Feeling so ashamed I took my friends to this place. The only thing we kept thinking about was to not get spit in our food because we asked to get a few more minutes to think and we misheard what the waiter said and he rolled his eyes and shook his head. I can see older men liking this restaurant since those were the only people the waiters even moved a muscle in their face for.
The one good thing was the Pizza, but that, I can definitely get somewhere else where people who likes food and likes other people goes. Like in a school cafeteria or...
Read morePane Fresco turns out to be a cozy and warm restaurant for a very tasty lunch. Our review (two people, my wife and I) can be summarised in the following points the place is modern but warm with Italian touch and the staff is very gentle and more than friendly the wines are lovely: both of us are from north-east Italy so we truly appreciated a Ca'bolani and a Zonin glass of white wine the pizzas: not super-thick at the edges and well-cooked, the dough was not gummy (really important point for us!) and the topping is really well prepared the pastas: we took pappardelle con scampi and they were cooked al dente with a tasty sauce the desserts: both cakes and cannoli were very good In the end we do suggest this restaurant to anybody who loves to have an Italian lunch/dinner in the heart...
