I will start saying that I am not a ramen expert but I can taste flavours and definitely have been in enough places in my life to say whether something taste good or not.
I am surprised by some of the reviews here saying that the food is tasteless or the broth is watery. It is not the case.
The place is really cosy, both owners (I assume they are) were very friendly and prepared meticulously in front of you every plate. The pork melts in your mouth, is slow cooked, so not braised, I don't see a problem with that, is flavourful and soft.
The broth is warm and rich. Very tasty!
I confirmed the Noddles come from a small pack and therefore are not fresh. I don't know a lot about Asian noodles for ramen, but with Italian pasta, fresh pasta does not necessarily means better past than dried one, so I don't see an issue. They were light and had a bite to them cooked to perfection.
Price, to be Stockholm, Gamla Stan, cannot get any better.
Me an my partner left very happy with no regrets for eating this delicious ramen on our first day in Stockholm.
The place was by the way filled (or had a line) with all nationalities, both locals and tourist, so if everyone goes there, needs to mean...
Read moreAs a Korean who absolutely loves ramen, I feel confident in saying you can trust my review. I’ve tried both the Shoyu Ramen and Shio Ramen here, and they were really cool that I visited twice in two days. The effort put into the chicken broth is evident; the flavor was deep and rich. Expecting a vegetarian option at a ramen place like this misses the point. You know, it’s RAMEN. this chicken broth is crazy!
The noodles were perfectly cooked, offering a delightful chewiness and absorbing the broth beautifully. The owner even goes the extra mile to ensure the bowls are at the right temperature to bring out the full flavor of the ramen. You can truly sense the dedication and craftsmanship here. It’s amazing to experience such authentic Japanese ramen artistry from a Swedish chef. This place is wonderful!

Read moreThis ramen restaurant is tucked away in the heart of Stockholm’s Old Town. It’s a small but charming place, with only counter seating and a few spots by the window. Despite its size, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, thanks to the friendly service. A cheerful and elegant waitress greeted me at the door, showed me to a seat, and handed me the menu while explaining the options. The menu isn’t very extensive, but it’s more than enough for a quick and satisfying lunch. I ordered a beer and a bowl of ramen. The beer was surprisingly good — crisp and refreshing, perfect for a summer afternoon. The ramen was also quite nice, light and flavorful, ranking among the better Japanese ramen I’ve had outside of Japan. It wasn’t heavy, which made it ideal for the season. Overall, it’s a great little spot for a casual meal with excellent service and a...
