The Nest (Downtown Camper) — Restaurant in Stockholm

What a fun and cozy spot to perch on to watch city of Stockholm from!! This downtown rooftop bar and spa is just the ticket to a great day and evening. They have hot tubs at the outside portion of the rooftop so you can enjoy it even in winter. We opted for the indoors. Great modern decor and casual yet smart decor. The bar is beautiful and staffed well… never had to wait too long for drinks. They were delicious. The server who brought our drinks was fantastic; she told us about the view, educated us about which building is what, the royal residences and so forth. All right in from of our spectacular view. Shout out to her - you know who you are - tack 🙏 for the beautiful hospitality you showed us. Given that this is downtown Stockholm, we didn’t want to deal with traffic and parking hence we used Ubers. Highly recommend that or walking if you are nearby. If you are looking for relaxation and tranquillity, then go somewhere else. This place is really stylish and offers great views over Stockholm, but lacks on service and detail. You are only getting 1 towel which is not enough considering going to a Sauna and Pool. There are no comfy chairs, only kind of curved stones to sit on and beach chairs. No separate room to relax, no privacy, hence it is loud as people are talking and laughing. The pool is great, but not for swimming. It's about hip deep, so you can only sit and drink something. For getting a drink you have to go through the whole bar in your wet clothes to order something. The sauna is nice, but not comparable with a traditional one as it is not hot enough. The bar itself is really stylish with a fire place. All in all 20 people are allowed to be there at once, you have to book in advance. The spa was quite expensive and it wasn’t included when you booked the accommodation like some of other hotels. The Nest bar is quite small so it was always so crowded and full of people, it was hard to find a table, unless those at the back far from the windows, the windows seats are always occupied, no matter if it was in the evening or 5pm in the afternoon, what even worse was they had reserved a large area (windows table) to the corporate customers, so we were very disappointed that we couldn’t find a better seat close to the window to have the view while the 2 nights stay in this hotel, limited choice of...
