The Oaken Inn — Restaurant in Stockholm

My friend was aggressively thrown out of the place (maybe because she wasn’t speaking Swedish/ she was speaking with accent?!). She even woke up with bruises on her arm this morning. She was not drunk, and not loud. My other friend and I followed her outside to check what happened and we wanted to leave the place when I realized I had my jacket and bag (including my phone, credit card, ID) inside the club. When I wanted to go back the security told me I am not allowed to go in as they are full. When I told him I just wanted to grab my things and leave they did not care and still did not let me in. We ended up calling to police who then spoke to the security and they promised us we could go in and I could get my belongings. After we hang up the phone the security turned to us and said: ‘sorry we are full so you are not allowed to go in anyways’. We ended up crying and begging them to just let me in only to get my bag and eventually they did (while strictly following me and checking every move I made) while I found my bag and then they walked me out). It is perfectly fine if they considered me too drunk / loud to stay (although my fiends were sober) but how come I’m not allowed to get my bag? How come I need to call the police in order to get what is mine? This is unacceptable behavior and we will make sure this act will have its...

It's really an amazing place they've created here, and it's all because of Leo & Aron (the proprietors). They revamped Corner Club in the Old Town (which unfortunately turned awful after their departure) and they've successfully revamped this place as well. From what was a tired old Irish pub, they have created a cocktail lover's paradise. The friendly reception from the staff is, at least at the moment of writing, unmatched in Stockholm's bar scene. Classic English type of pub with both the interior, food and drinks selection reflecting this. If you like this you shouldnt be dissapointed and the location is great both as a pre or post going out hangout. Also nice with outside seating for those warm...
