Le Pandore — Restaurant in Geneva

Average food, disorganized service, and a pretentious atmosphere that felt completely fake. Total ripoff. There are plenty of better spots nearby for less money. Unless you’re a total douchebag, you’ll feel completely out of place here.

I find your response extremely condescending and disrespectful. Mocking dissatisfied customers is not only unprofessional but completely out of place for a restaurant in Geneva. This kind of attitude is exactly what’s wrong!! It’s clear from your other replies that this is a pattern: when someone leaves a negative review, you either dismiss them or tell them they should’ve spoken to a manager on site. Well, I tried!! I was told either that the person in charge wasn’t available or that everyone was too busy and we’d have to wait an hour. Wait, wait, wait, that’s what we did all evening. Our food arrived nearly 2 (two) hours late!! By then, some people had lost their appetite, especially after being encouraged to keep ordering drinks during the long wait. Much of the food went untouched. We asked three times for doggy bags, and each time we were told it would be handled, in the end, nothing was done. Throughout the night, every time something felt off or went wrong, we tried to speak with a staff member. And every single time, we were met with the same vague reassurance: “Don’t worry, we’ll sort it out.” But what exactly were you planning to sort out? There was never any clear solution, no actual follow-up, and certainly no goodwill gesture offered at the end; quite the opposite, in fact: We suspect that some items may have been charged twice. Drinks were sometimes paid for on the spot while we were standing around (because there wasn’t enough space for our group even though we have reserved) and it’s unclear whether those were also added again to the final bill. Delicious Food & Cocktails, amazing ambiance, and simply a really fun place! The tapas style dishes are the perfect quantity to share and loved that the menu offered a variety of flavors - we had their Pandora Box which was more than enough food for 4 but had something for everyone. I had the Pain Perdue for dessert and it's the best I've ever had in Geneva. The cocktails are creative and dangerously easy to drink. They sometimes have live music and/or DJs come in which makes it a nonstop party all night. Best part is the staff, very friendly and easy going - they take pride in what they have created and they should because it's a place you want to keep...

Je n’ai pas passé un agréable moment, tout d’abord la qualité des plats étaient pas top du tout, très fades et la description sur la carte ne correspondait pas à ce qui était servie comme pour les tacos pandore par exemple, au delà de ça le service était assez long (30 minutes pour des boissons) étant donné qu’il y avait qu’un serveur principale pour la prise de commande et une serveuse qui amenée les plats mais qui ne voulait pas prendre de commande sauf si on insistait. Je précise que nous y sommes allé un jeudi et qu’il n’y avait vraiment pas grand monde peut être deux tables. Il y avait un dj de quoi amener un peu d’ambiance mais la music était beaucoup trop forte on ne s’entendait pas parler et pendant un dîner c’est pas l’idéal voir embêtant, une cave à cigare est annoncé sur le site avec un fumoir et quelle déception, il n’y avait ni l’un ni l’autre, la cave à cigare étant une des raison qui m’avait fais choisir cet endroit, ensuite pour le vin j’avais choisi une bouteille dans une game de prix à 55-. mais ne voulant pas trop boire j’ai demandé au serveur s’ils avaient des désiré ou des demis bouteilles, au bout d’un très long moment d’attente le serveur m’apporte une demi bouteille qui était excellente mais ne m’a cependant pas annoncé le prix et la bouteille était bien plus cher que ma gamme de prix initial je n’ai pas trouvé ça professionnel de la part du serveur, pour conclure un rapport qualité prix inexistant, une longue attente pour des plats fade et une ambiance bien trop bruyantes je ne retournerai jamais dans cet endroit et je suis déçu d’avoir fais autant de chemin pour une expérience...
