Absolutely Horrible Service Experience!

I recently visited La Muse Gueule with a group of friends to celebrate the birthdays of my best friend’s mother and aunt. Unfortunately, what was meant to be a joyful evening turned into a very disappointing experience, largely due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of one of the waitresses.

Upon entering, we accidentally missed a small, poorly placed sign that said, “Stop, wait here to be seated.” Almost immediately, a blonde waitress with glasses confronted us in a hostile manner, telling us to “open our eyes.” She then walked over to the sign, held it up, and condescendingly repeated, “Look, open your eyes.” The sign was placed on a table and was easy to miss, especially since there are two entrances, and we happened to walk through the one where the sign wasn’t clearly visible. Despite our polite explanation, the waitress continued to be rude and childish.

To make matters worse, she proceeded to ignore our table for the rest of the evening. When it came time to order drinks, she didn’t even bother asking my friend and me what we wanted, likely as payback for speaking up. Throughout the night, she never returned to check if we needed anything else, leaving us feeling completely unwelcome and ignored.

The only reason we stayed was out of respect for the birthday guests, who didn’t witness the initial confrontation. However, as we sat there, we noticed other people also missing the sign and receiving the same treatment from the waitress.

All in all, it was an extremely disappointing experience. La Muse Gueule seriously needs to provide proper customer service training to their staff. Basic courtesy and professionalism should be a priority in any establishment, and this was far from what we experienced. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on how we...

Irrespectful staff and disappointing experience. If you’re looking for a nice night out, never choose this place. We had a reservation at 8pm at La Muse Gueule for 3 people. We were there on time and ordered drinks and food. We ate quickly and stayed there to enjoy the night. While we were talking with someone next to us and suddenly the “blondie” waitress came to our table and told us that “because we didn’t consume much, we should pay and leave”. We were shocked with her rudeness and well, a restaurant should never kick its clients after they “stopped” consuming. We then asked her for clarifications and she said that “yes, you’re taking a table and only consumed a specific amount, which is not enough”. They never told us that we had to consume for a minimum amount. This is very irrespectful. I do not recommend this place at all.

Personale irrispettoso ed esperienza deludente. Se stai cercando una bella serata fuori, non scegliere mai questo posto. Avevamo una prenotazione alle 20:00 presso La Muse Gueule per 3 persone. Eravamo lì in orario e abbiamo ordinato cibo e bevande. Abbiamo mangiato velocemente e siamo rimasti lì per goderci la notte. Mentre stavamo parlando con qualcuno accanto a noi e all'improvviso la cameriera "bionda" è venuta al nostro tavolo e ci ha detto che "poiché non abbiamo consumato molto, dobbiamo pagare e andarcene". Siamo rimasti scioccati dalla sua maleducazione e beh, un ristorante non dovrebbe mai prendere a calci i suoi clienti dopo che hanno "smesso" di consumare. Poi le abbiamo chiesto chiarimenti e lei ha detto che "sì, stai prendendo un tavolo e hai consumato solo una quantità specifica, che non è sufficiente". Really like the place in general because I came a lot for take out. However, yesterday I came for a drink and some dinner with some friends and the waitress (a blonde woman) was extremely rude. Not only did she want to correct the pronunciation of the dishes by a friend of mine (who was pronouncing them right), she also made uninvited comments about their choice of drinks instead of food. In general she also made a bunch of passive aggressive comments to people who were not totally ready to order, she said “she didnt feel like serving the people in the back” etc. This went on during the whole service, despite the fact that most of us had ordered both food and drinks. We would have stayed for another round but we didn't because of such behaviour. I understand someone could be in a bad mood but it’s no reason to take it out on clients. This is really bad service and I hope this restaurant does something to remedy this because we genuinely liked the burgers and the salads as well...
