Very chill bar and cafe next to the Interlaken Ost train and ferry stations as well as my Hotel du Lac Interlaken. They prepared a perfect little ham and cheese croissant sandwich and cappuccino as I had just finished a long day of travel. They seemed very nice and attentive. The patio is prime viewing area for watching people get on the ferry and strolling the path to Lake Brienz. Lots of kids in the play area adjacent as well as couples. Marina – Apéro, Kaffee & Gelati in Interlaken sits right by the Aare and is a relaxed spot to wait for your boat while watching the water.

I had an affogato here, and the espresso hit the right note over the ice cream as I sat by the river.

It’s casual, with plenty of outdoor seating and mountain views, making it an easy choice if you want a sweet break with scenery before heading out on Lake Brienz.

Today we ate 3 cups of ice cream andcafter finishing, we ate our baguettes (that we bring along). Then server came and asked if we will order food, else we must leave, with a very aggressive attitude. It's abit weird, I dont know if she thought we haven't ordered anything just sitting there, or she intentionally asked us to order more besides ice cream. In any case, I think the attitude could be much better...
