Walked in, the lady huffed and acted annoyed to seat us. Sat 15 mins with no service, so I went to the counter to ask if we order there — told to sit and they’d come over. Waited another 5–10 mins, then a big group came in speaking their language and got served within 5 mins while we were still ignored. When we got up to leave and said we’d been waiting, the waiter just said “we’re busy” — even though there were plenty of empty tables. He didn’t try to fix it or serve us first, he just didn’t care. Not even offered water — apparently they “don’t serve tap water.” Disgusting service.
Next time apologise and serve the first waiting customers first. You disgusting incompetent people.
If you’re a person of colour or can’t speak the language, go elsewhere.
Edit: it doesn’t matter we didn’t have a reservation we were waiting for over 20 mins and asked twice to place an order before the group even arrived. A reservation doesn’t indicate who gets served first, it simple is to keep a table ready. If you’re running a hospitality business understand the etiquette.
And I iterate you weren’t super busy there were so many tables free.
Also the privileged white man that is taking peoples orders needs to be more proactive he is the slowest waiter I have ever seen in my life, and extremely incompetent.
Yes sadly we didn’t get to eat because of your poor customer service and poor behaviour. Impatience comes after we asked twice to be served over 20 mins. What a joke.

Read moreThis was our second visit here. My girlfriend ordered the papaya salad, which she really enjoyed the first time. Unfortunately, this time it was made completely differently, and she didn’t like it at all—she couldn’t even finish it. We politely brought it up, hoping for a resolution, but instead of acknowledging the issue or offering to remake it, the owner simply blamed the kitchen for not using enough chili or something similar. Rather than actually addressing the problem, she handed us some free drinks and crackers we didn’t want, and kept repeating “sorry” without any real effort to make it right.
It came across as more about protecting the bottom line and avoiding a bad review than genuinely valuing customer satisfaction. On top of that, our food took significantly longer to arrive this time, which only added to the frustration.
To make matters worse, during our meal, another customer accidentally broke a glass. Instead of handling it discreetly, the owner rudely handed them a towel and pointed to the floor - expecting the customer to clean it up. I’ve never seen that before at a restaurant. Accidents happen, and it’s the staff’s responsibility to handle them, not the guests’.

We had an incredible dining experience at Sri Manee Isaan Thai House. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly and warm host who immediately made us feel welcome. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but the cozy and inviting ambiance made it perfect for an intimate and relaxed meal.
We were a group of 8, including several teenagers, and every single one of us left happy and full. The food was absolutely phenomenal — easily some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had. The flavors were authentic, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. Each dish was clearly made with care and passion.
Service throughout the meal was attentive and very good. The staff handled our larger group with ease and made excellent recommendations.
A quick tip: make a reservation if you’re planning to visit — the space is limited and fills up quickly, for good reason!
