We were highly impressed with our dining experience at this establishment, to the extent that we chose to dine there for both lunch and dinner. The fish curry, in particular, stood out as a culinary masterpiece, captivating our taste buds to the extent that we ordered it twice in a single day. The Dahl and Garam Masala also proved to be delightful, offering a symphony of explosive flavors.
The individual serving as our main waiter, who may have held the position of manager or owner, distinguished himself with his friendliness and exceptional attentiveness. Notably, his consideration and understanding of my severe nut allergy provided a sense of security, allowing me to enjoy my meals without concern. Furthermore, he graciously shared the recipe for the exceptional fish curry.
This experience has left us not only satisfied but also inspired to venture into the realm of Indian cuisine at home. In summary, our dining experience at this establishment exceeded our expectations, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. It's worth noting that I rarely provide reviews, reserving them for exceptional experiences, and this...

The taste of India caught my eye as I was walking from the Interlaken West station.
The ambience: It's dingy. You get the clicheded Indian village murals on the wall... Attendants in ill fitting t-shirts and a string of Diwali lights on the windows. But, who cares. I'm here to eat Indian cuisine.
The food: This is where I got my money's worth. I wanted tasty Indian food... I wanted vegetarian food... And... I got all I wanted...
We started off with a paneer starter - good; followed by a samosa chaat - great. The portions were generous and our party of four was feeling full just after consuming the entree.
The veg biryani, which came next was just right. Not too spicy but not too bland either. They served this biryani as a half portion on my request.
A special mention for our server, Bruh, a bubbly and vivacious young girl, who enthralled my wife with...
Read moreCame here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. A bit hole in the wall kind of place. Reminds you of eating at an upscale dhaba back in India. Location is very close to the Interlaken West (not OST) train station, very close to Höheweg which is the main street in Interlaken.
Food was above average but don’t expect gourmet flavors. We tried the butter chicken, shahi paneer, paneer kulcha, aloo kulcha and roti. Really great Butter chicken is perfect balance of sweet and savory taste, here it was a bit more on savory side and lacked the sweet flavor, also it had some lemony taste to it which others may enjoy but I didn’t. Their shahi paneer was good. Best were the breads, the aloo kulcha was amazing, the best tasting thing we tried. Paneer kulcha was also good. Service was friendly and helpful.
Would recommend to those craving authentic north Indian food. Don’t expect gourmet flavors but you will get good food and...
