Lausanne Cocktail Club - LCC — Restaurant in Lausanne

We reserved a table at LCC with a friend, and had to wait 10 mins to be seated. After no one welcomed us in, we walked in and were rudely told to wait at the door as they need to scan our Covid Certificate at the entrance. There was a sign ONLY signaling that due to their “nightclub permit” they are required to scan our certificate and we must scan their SwissPass QR Code. Not once did it mention, “at the entrance”. After returning to the entrance and waiting another 5 minutes for the barman to come, instead of welcoming us and saying something like “sorry for the wait, we are very busy, welcome” without one kind word, he continued telling us off, that we were wrong to enter. We continued to mention to him that we didn’t realize as their sign doesn’t specify to wait, and other bars in Lausanne welcome you to sit down first, and they scan your certificate at your table. He VERY rudely argued non-stop saying “well it’s logical” and then sent us away by grabbing us on the arm!!! Worst service EVER in Lausanne!!! Highly discourage people from going here, we...

One of the places I really like with good music, good crowd. The place gets quite crowded by the night so buying a drink may take 5 -15 minutes. The interior is quite modern and the DJ never disappoints. I love the comedy nights which happen here sometimes on Tuesdays- a must go! The queues to enter the pub get longer around 11pm which makes the wait sometimes a bit tiring but worthy.

The ONLY big negative is: the security guy can be extremely rude and extremely insensitive. Not-at-all welcoming. He once told my friend (who was not even at fault) who just wanted to say good bye to another friend from outside itself that he won't let him enter the pub ever again (unbelievable right?). He also passed some rude comments to me sometimes.

Apart from the guy at the security who is VERY mean (while you wait in the long queue) I feel the place is nice.

*For me, the two points go down mainly due to this security guy who spoils the great experience which one has inside the pub. Such behaviour towards nice, regular customers IS NOT OK.

The bar staff is nice and very professional and provides quality service. The cocktail menu is quite limited though. Eventhough I'm sure the experienced mixologists behind the bar can make you anything you desire, I'd like more cocktail suggestions on a menu in a cocktail bar. The interior is quite modern, but the bar seems to attract more of a snobby crowd. This is reinforced by the fact that at 22h a bouncer shows up to fully lock off the sidewalk from the entrance, which confirms that only a certain type of people will be allowed in.
