It was the best cold brew coffee I’ve ever had. I enjoy coffee, especially iced coffee in the summer, but that doesn’t mean I’m knowledgeable about it. For me, coffee was just something to drink whenever I wanted, and I didn’t really care much about the taste. While wandering around Lausanne on my trip, I was only expecting something refreshing to quench my thirst. Yet after just one sip, I was completely swept away by the flavor.

The owner told me about the spice he adds as a topping, so I want to try it at home, but I already know it will never be quite the same. I really hope he opens another shop in the Zurich...

Always on the lookout for fantastic coffee, my wife and I happened upon this place through plain luck, as it hadn't appeared in my Lausanne coffee research. Plenty of buzz in the place somehow didn't make it any less peaceful, and both the latte and my filter coffee were well-rounded cups. The banana bread was full of flavors and the perfect amount of banana to please non-banana-lovers as well. The cafe has photography exhibited on its walls, which add to the atmosphere without being too imposing.
