Kawaya Ramen — Restaurant in Lausanne

My boyfriend and I have been visiting this place for many years. The Taiwanese spicy beef ramen, the Japanese fatty beef ramen, the veggi gyoza and the seaweed salad are our standard orders. Of course, they are not as authentic as what you can get from the origin. But the taste is absolutely top as one can get in cities with rich Asian culinary culture like New York or London. The price is very reasonable considering it is in Switzerland. The small restaurant had changed owners / chef / service staff over the last years. personally the staff was cold but it didn't bother me more than this. What disappointed me was the food. When u read other comments, moste of people are right ✔️ Personaly the food was taesteless and doesn't fit with what they ask to pay. I didn't enjoyed at all and I just felt that I fill me with food. At the end I thought it's waste of money and I'm almost sure that I can do better at home with the seasoning. Don't trust photos cause, the dish looks good but that's it ! For me isn't real Japanese food. It's not comparable to what I tried in others places, it's just a copy. I don't recommend this spot at all. It was my first and last time....

Barely passable as ramen. The broth is terrible, flavourless and somehow fatty, with barely any garnishes you would normally find in a good quality ramen. The vietnamese bún bò was somewhat better but still incredibly disappointing.
