Anfield Pub — Restaurant in Lucerne

Found this place and as a fan was absolutely delighted. We were 10 mins early so just popped to the shop and came back at 4:35. It was quiet so atmosphere was obviously quiet, but the welcome was underwhelming, the LFC content was a mix of very good and very poor. It seems someone started doing this and then just gave up. Nothing from recent Klopp or Slot era either. Felt more of a Sports bar with an LFC slant than an actual LFC bar. Had an Erdinger and my wife had a wine (not cheap). We did get free crisps which were welcome so maybe it was just an off day. Love the idea and even location but needs some more effort. UPDATE - got a sound response from the fella running it explaining some divvies (probably bitters or mancs) have been nicking the stuff off the walls. They're looking into replacing and protecting new memorabilia. Upgrading review to 4 stars and hope one day to go back and see it back to full glory and give it 5 stars. Good...

My friend and I wanted to play darts. The woman there didn't come to us right away; we had to wait for 5 minutes. We asked if we could have some darts. The woman at the place told us we needed to buy a drink to play darts because it's not like an arcade. They said it's to keep the place lively.

We were confused because they also make money from the game machines. They mentioned a usual rule that says we have to order something to play darts. We hadn't seen any information about this rule.

After hearing this, we decided to leave and find another place. We found a place called "Tresor" where playing darts wasn't a problem at all, and we didn't have to buy anything from the bar.

The staff wasn't friendly to us and didn't even try to keep us there with a special offer or something like that....

MEGA unfreundliches Personal. Beim ersten Besuch während der EM haben wir eine Cola Dose gekauft für CHF 6.- (völlig überteuert für eine Dose Cola ohne Glas oder Sitzplatz), aber in die Bar hinein und kurz aufs WC durften wir nicht. Beim zweiten Mal wollten wir uns einfach kurz draussen hinstellen vor den Aussenfernseher um dass Fussballspiel zu schauen. Wir standen halb auf der Strasse und halbwegs auf dem Kiesplatz im Regen also da war keine Bedienung oder Terrasse zum sitzen. Da kommt jemand von der Bar und fordert uns auf Getränke zu kaufen damit wir da draussen auf der Strasse im Regen in ihren TV glotzen dürfen🤣🤣🤣da frage ich mich wirklich, wie kann so ein Lokal überhaupt laufen, nicht nur die sture und unfreundliche Art, sondern auch die Aufforderung etwas zu konsumieren ohne einen Service oder DL in Anspruch zu nehmen. Unverschämt. Wir sind dann kurz später ohne etwas zu konsumieren, wieder gegangen. Und wir wurden auch als Einzige aufgefordert etwas zu kaufen, die 100 anderen Personen, die nach uns kamen, wurden in Ruhe gelassen😉 viel...
